We recently had the privilege of holding our wedding on the beautiful grounds of The Bli Bli House Bed & Breakfast. From the first enquiry, through-out all the planning, to multiple lovely cooked breakfasts and a warm goodbye the morning after the wedding, Phil & Merryl were highly genuine, world class hosts, who eagerly went above and beyond to help make our stay nothing less than perfect. But not stopping there, Phil & Merryl’s contribution to our actual wedding day was beyond measure. With Phil helping set up decorations and his impeccable food preparation and presentation, to Merryl ushering our guests and organising the very flustered bridal party right up to walking down the isle. Chris and I cannot find words thankful enough to show our gratitude towards such accommodating and generous and people.

As for the Bli Bli House itself, the rooms are the very picture of luxury and opulence. From the gorgeous bedroom suits, to the stunning entry and foyer, the stately formal dining room and the elegant gardens. The whole building exudes old world charm and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you step through the front door. Although, my husband and I both agree that Phil and Merryl are still the best asset Bli Bli house has to offer!

Bli Bli House is the quintessential romantic night away. The beauty and sublime experience of Bli Bli House are unending. The grandeur begins on entering the opulent front door; transported through time to archetypal Victorian luxury--then relaxed and royal in glorious comfort on its king-sized four-poster bed to soaking in its peace from a balcony overlooking ghost gums and lapping river waters--this amid the 1800s' cultured garden laden with singing birds. Attention to detail and consummate perfection overflow in a mix of old-world-regal and state-of-the-art contemporary facilities, culminating in its chef-prepared silver service breakfast of hatted restaurant-quality. Walking along the river boardwalk and looking back at the heritage building's external character complete an experience speaking of the 'something more' of this place. Its museum-like charm and beauty are wrapped in a 'sacred' sense of peace. You must immerse yourselves in this place's 'experience' to understand. It is profound and it is sublime--the ultimate in romantic times...

Meryl is an absolute pleasure, greeting us warmly and showing us around Bli Bli House. It's so cute here! The decor and atmosphere is so regal and comfortable, I feel like a king 🤴 We stayed in the Spa Suite after Meryl saw we were the only guest staying on a Sunday night and upgraded us for no extra cost to a more lavish room. The spa bath is just awesome - and they've provided all sorts of thoughtful toiletries! Make-up removal wipes, shower cap, comb, beautiful smelling lotions and soaps 🧼 The level of thought and care the owners have extended to guests is unmatched, it's personality is so warm and you really won't find places quite like this. They've even left all sorts of treats in the room, despite having a full sweets cart and dining room buffet on offer. We still have our customised breakfasts coming soon, cooked by Phil -owner and chef- every morning. I am beyond impressed with this place, we will definitely be coming back next time.
