The staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities are modern and cleaned well every day. The main pool is heated and the waterslides are great. Inflatable rings are sold at the office for $15 large and $10 small, and are so much fun on the waterslides. The laundries are clean and have large machines; $4 each for washer and dryer cycles. The park and gardens are clean and well-maintained. We found the park to be very safe with a family atmosphere. The resort is a 3-minute drive away from the local shopping complex at Bli Bli, which includes Supa IGA, bakery, butcher, newsagent, medical center, pharmacy, post office, BWS, barber, and cafe, and several takeaway shops including pizza, Japanese, Thai and Subway. The IGA also has a Video Ezy kiosk to rent DVDs. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable barn literally next-door to the resort. Major shopping centers including cinemas are 10 minutes away in Maroochydore, as well as mainstream takeaways like KFC, Hungry Jack's and Maccas. The surf beaches are 10 minutes away. There were a few activities for the kids, including free outdoor cinema every night (in holidays), pony rides and animal petting ($2 per child baby farm animals and $5 per child pony rides), sand art, laser tag, and fishing competitions. Go-karts are available for hire at $15 an hour, and are a big hit with the kids. Bonfires every night by the river. There is an activity room for the kids, with a TV, colouring in, and board games. Areas for improvement: Rivershore advertises free wifi, but it drops in and out all the time, so is not really usable. A few clocks around the pool area would be helpful, as would better quality toilet paper. The main concern for us was that there are no concrete slabs on the sites, which means that when it rains, everything on the ground gets wet. This was a huge pain, and I am glad we were in a caravan, not a tent. Hopefully these things will be improved on before we come back...

This was the best and also worst caravan park I have stayed at. The pool is amazing, it is the biggest we have seen on our travels. There are two water slides which are great for older kids. No so good for smaller kids as the water is quite deep at the end. The set up with the playground and bar/restaurant is awesome. There is also a jumping pillow for the kids but in a weird spot away from the campsites. Unfortunately there is no shade over the pool or the jumping pillow. We arrived on a wet day, the drainage is terrible. We had a soggy, swampy, muddy site with no shade. There are no concrete slabs, just the thick netting. We were put furthered away from the toilets, even though there were plenty of other sites. We had to walk through mud to get to the showers and on the way back, your legs are splashed with mud. There was a lot of rain, but our site the day before at another park was not muddy like here. The showers are new and clean, but also of the type that are not sealed, so dirty water from your neighbour can splash into your stalls. The shower heads and pressure is great, The BBQ are old and dirty and need to be replaced. This is the only caravan park that charges your extra for power. Next will they be charging people for the showers? There is no information on how this is charged? This makes check out a pain, instead of just leaving, you have to go into the office. The driveway is a terrible design to make campers and caravans park up and attempt a uturn after checking out. We calculated our power usage to about $1.50. We were not charged. I don’t know why they have added this extra charge, it makes me dislike the park a little bit. The park has some glamping tents, which seemed vacant during our stay. There are no permanent homes on this side, so it made the park...

I organized a surprise week at Rivershore for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and their 70th birthdays. Family and friends traveled from Victoria and other parts of qld to stay and celebrate. Jean and her staff went above and beyond to keep this surprise from my parents, who kept ringing trying to check in early and ruin the surprise! Jean was in constant contact when guests arrived to ensure the staff were not giving the surprise away and to make sure it all went off without a hitch. It did! ||There were 21 of us in various accommodation types and nothing was too much for the staff to accommodate us. From delivering groceries to the glamping tents so my cousin and kids were in place for the big surprise, to providing extra beds when our tent got flooded! ||On check in I was gifted pedal cart vouchers for the kids and a cocktail voucher for me! On check out my parents were personally gifted wine, chocolates and a Rivershore hat from Jean to congratulate them on their milestones and thank them for staying at Rivershore. ||It was torrential rain and wind all week yet we still swam, played mini golf, cricket, board games, used the water slides, did water aerobics, roasted marshmallows and made family memories we won't forget. Especially my Mum and Dad's reaction to that surprise! Thank you so much Jean and staff, it means more than I can say ||I highly recommend Rivershore, all accommodation options are amazing with something to suit everyone. The staff are happy and treat each other and guests like family. The facilities and location are perfect for all ages and it is a wonderful holiday in...

Had such a great time. Stayed 4 nights southern end unpowered, 2024 QLD Easter school holidays with 2A 1C (5 years old). Unpowered sites are HUGE and grass beautifully kept. Amenities were very good and cleaned frequently, showers delightfully hot and free. Bins close by to sites and I counted them being emptied at minimum 3 times a day. Restaurant food and drinks slightly on the higher price range but only marginally more than you would pay at any other restaurant, food was really good and absolutely fantastic you can sit and relax while keeping eyes on the kids as you have full view over the pool and playground. Onto the pool and playground, so awesome you can book a cabana (no cost) for two hour periods and order food/drinks via code and delivered directly to the cabana. Spent many hours watching our little guy in the kids pool while we chilled in the cabana. Waterslides were a huge hit with young and young at heart! Indoor playroom could use a bit of a jazz up but not much time was spent in there due to having so many other things to do. Mr 5 was never bored and didn't complain once about having nothing to do. Our ONLY issue is the road noise, it really is pretty bad being on a major road between sunny coast and the freeway, it did wake us up on several occasions due to massive flogs who used the road as their drag strip. We thought a suggestion may be to plant bamboo along the fence line of the property as it is an inexpensive and efficient noise block, would also look pretty cool! Hope to see something like this implemented in the future because we will be back at every chance we get.

Spent a week with family split over 4 premium powered sites with kids from 16 months to 6yrs old during the peak Christmas period. Everyone had different style setups/ vans but each site was extremely spacious (huge to be honest). We were super lucky to score 4 sites together to enjoy our Family vacay. Facilities were thoroughly cleaned and maintained daily including lawn care, fully equipped camp kitchen, coin/ tap & pay laundry blocks, dump point, numerous amenties blocks and a sensational pool area. Plenty of entertainment options for kids with carts, putt putt, jumping castles etc. The bar/bistro has a great menu variety, reasonably priced plus daily food vans visit to mix up options for guests. QR codes on your site and throughout the pool and bistro means drinks and food is quickly and easily delivered to you. Pool was cleaned daily and both adults and kids enjoyed the slides. Fishing from the river/ jetty enjoyed by all. Dogs are permitted on ground floor of bar/ bistro area and all owners adhered to rules to keep dogs on leash and under control during our stay. Location is close to local beaches, caltex, IGA, bottle shop, and not far from main town, shopping centre and water sports. Daily updates texted to guests each day on specials or information. Numerous thefts occurred during our stay which staff kept guests informed and on alert so do ensure you lock items of value away at night or when unattended. Not parks fault just optimistic thieves ruining peoples holidays unfortunately. Would stay again.
