BIG.SHED.HOUSE — Hotel in Tasmania

We were blown away by this little architectural gem, nestled neatly into the hillside surrounded by beautiful gum trees, located only a stones throw from down-town Huonville. As first time visitors to Tassie we were keenly looking forward to our stay at the Shed and we are delighted to report, it exceeded our expectations in every way. The warm hospitality extended by Ron upon our arrival (& through out our stay) was wonderful and made us feel right at home. Ron and Yvonne - the perfect hosts, thank you for having us! The accommodation is first class; high quality fixtures, fittings and furniture throughout, coupled with great design, homely personal touches and a fabulous super warm fireplace made the open plan living/dining very comfortable. We only wish we could have stayed longer......we eagerly look forward...

Stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave. The owners have done an awesome job of converting the apple shed into a very comfortable apartment. The kitchen had all the utensils you’d need to cook up a storm. But my favourite was the coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large with a very spacious shower. But as we visited in middle of winter with temps down to zero at night, the wood heater in middle of the room did a great job in keeping us warm. The owners were very easy to communicate with and their suggestions re eateries were excellent. Highly recommend staying her and would love to stay here again on our next visit to...

We had an amazing stay at the big.shed.house. The building itself is a beautiful design that includes a number of unique touches. The location was fantastic as it was a good spot for us to stay as we explored a number of places south of Hobart. Ron and Yvonne were really friendly and easy to contact - they were more the happy to answer any questions or help out where they could. Furthermore, the accommodation was very well priced.
