We went only to the pub. They didn’t have oysters, despite being in the menu, and they didn’t have the dessert we wanted. It’s a bit disappointing that every time you try to order something they say they don’t have it. I ordered the carbonara pasta from the specials. Traditional Carbonara pasta has pancetta, not ham and it does not have onion. I made the mistake of ordering it with chicken, I thought I’d be one or two chicken tenders but no, it was also mixed in it so I took it out $32 for that 🙄 Another person on the table ordered the steak with chips and salad with a fried egg. He just got the salad, no chips and no egg. The service was friendly. In general I don’t give it more than 3 stars but it’s ok for the price. Would I come back? Maybe not.

Not for us. Difficult to know on Booking com whether you’re booking a motel or a pub room, as there are both. We scored an upstairs noisy pub room (noisy until after 11pm on Saturday night) with an extremely dodgy heavy window that is held open with doweling. Be careful closing the window as they are extremely heavy and one of us nearly lost finger tips in this guillotine contraption. The room was clean and housekeeping attentive. Given the choice, we would not stay again.

Arrived for counter meal only to find kitchen had closed. Staff member happily organised a roast lunch for us instead. Thinking we would get left overs we were very pleased with our meal. It was perfect. Just like a home cooked meal. Dining area is an interesting blast from the past. We loved the whole experience. Grapes for desert were also perfect. Thanks for being so accomadating

The food was okay (I did get a chuckle re the huge sheppards pie, which came with a side of mashed potato, a boiled potato and a smidge of carrots and brocolli - potato country indeed!), staff were lovely... the room in the hotel however.... Seems housekeeping went thru the process but did not actually check for a result or just didn't give a rip. Clean sheets were put onto a urine soaked/stained electric blanket and mattress.... not even clean pillow cases. The marks were approx 1m in diameter and SEVERE. I mean throw up severe. I am scarred for life... I slept in my car. The management were appropriately embarrassed and mortified as well and refunded my room and meal and vowed to get to the bottom of it. Hats off to them. Not sure if it was a rogue incident/housekeeper or a bigger issue. Was surprised considering the...

we gave you a 3 stars as the only thing that came out of the kitchen you didn’t make the ( Oysters) were fantastic, my parmigiana with the seafood was a total rip off 3 baby prawns and scallop the size of a 5 cent piece for $8.99 extra!! are you serious? my wife’s salmon was burnt and dried out to a cinder something seriously went wrong today in that kitchen !looking back at the rest of your reviews we thought we were in for a great meal! We spent over $80 without drinks for a really bad affair ! Your staff were fantastic- the only redeeming feature today! i could never recommend your place after today - unfortunately or fortunately we were on our way through and you only had one chance with us ! Good money...
