This review is based on my own experience and rating goes from 0 to 10. Stayed 4 nights with my husband.||Reception: 9 - all the staff is extremely friendly, the lady explained us about the hotel, activities, buffet, etc and after that took us until our bedroom and even explained how the bathroom system works (we stayed at one of the new bedrooms - panorama view) what is probably missing it’s a little bit more of marketing, the hotel offers much more than what we see and I will tell better in the restaurant part.||Bedroom: 8 - should be 10 out of 10 but our bathroom had the trash bin full (probably and hopefully from the people that stayed before us), bed had a bit of hair and it’s missing an air con. The view is amazing, the bed very comfortable and the toilet it’s very luxury. This place is a true resort!!!||Pools, relaxing space: 10 - absolutely amazing, there are a lot of relaxing beds inside and outside as well an outside and an indoor pool. There are options of refreshments such as teas, water, syrup.||Gym: 10 - all the equipments are new, brand Technogym, very moderna and the space is great. Cleaning towels can be found at the entrance and also refreshments are offered.||Activities: 10 - amazing experience in the yoga class, AB training and Hiking. The instructors Manuel and Tomasz are extremely friendly and experienced. For a little price e-bikes can be rented in the receptions, there are many trails and the views are worth!!||Restaurant: 10 - this is a great part of the hotel that is missing a lot of MARKETING. When the menu was presented to us looked like a simple meal composed of entrance, main course and dessert. I have to tell that the presentation is amazing. 5 courses are offered: salad buffet, soup, another entrance, main course (3 options) and dessert. All the staff is very friendly. A huge variety of drinks can be chose (not included in the price) the table that you are seated in your first dinner will be the table that you will be seating until the end of your stay. The place is very modern, the food is delicious, everything is prepared with love!||SPA: 6 - it’s a little disaster but I clarified that does not belong to the hotel, it’s a private spa. I will not lose time rating this as it’s not part of the package.||Overall rating: 9!!! I will be looking forward to came back...

Found this place on booking.com. Great price for a junior suite, access to sauna, pool and meals included. The pool is stainless steel with a jacuzzi on the side. Sleek stylish big for swimming lengths. This is a "wellness" hotel and therefore all the guests are calm quiet smiley polite and doing their own self care thing. The Sauna world has daily ceremonies i.e. chocolate, lemongrass. One of the sauna's are super hot and while laying in it you can look through the glass window out into the mountains. ||Everything was clean, quiet and calm. The staff are exceptional and proud to work at this amazing place, while they ensure you have a great stay. ||Lunch is accessible through the buffet, you get an option of one meal and the bread bar, dessert bar coffee and juices. We had the schnitzel out on the large patio overlooking the pool and lawn. Dinner was like eating at a gourmet restaurant. Delicious with amazing presentation. We had 4 courses. A perfectly soft boiled egg on mashed potato foam, then meat broth with veal meatballs, the dear was tender and delicious with red cabbage and beets around it. The dorade fish was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. to welcome you the dessert was a pineapple coconut panacotta. Amazing! I never had such an amazing breakfast with so many options! persecco, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh make your own smoothie with apples carrots and ginger, eggs, crêpes, honey from a honey comb, big assortment of jams and marmalade, we ate all morning :)||The hiking path starts from the hotel and assuming it goes into the mountain. Many of the guests were hikers and some were seniors and couples for the wellness spa part of it. ||We stayed in the junior suite which was spacious with a separate room with two twin beds. The woods smells amazing and when you go out on the balcony in the morning you can hear the cow bells from a far. It's picturesque and you never want to leave LOL.||twin and double beds were super comfortable. Bathroom is spacious with a tub and separate shower, two sinks. ||I can't recommend this hotel enough for a quick weekend getaway. I would definitely come back for a week to do some...

The first impression was nice and not very different from the two other hotels () we have visited at Achensee before.||But…||First positive:||Thomas - the fitness coach and sauna expert is amazing!!!||Place is newly built/renovated and in good shape||Amazing breakfast buffet - you literally can get everything ||Gorgeous service staff, very well trained ||||Now sadly the down sides:||||For us very important: pillows and duvets: those at Reiterhof offered are bully, inflexible, very sweaty and cheap. Woke up several times a night!||Out of reclining beds: after a hiking tour we arrived at ~ 3:45 at the hotel. Twice ( on Sunday AND Monday) it wasn’t possible to get to beds in one relax room) - not enough capacity ||No space at Sauna: the Sauna sessions by Thomas and Zsolt are very popular- ||You have to be there at least !!!! 15 minutes to get one mini space in the overcrowded sauna- kinda disgusting - not enough guided Sauna sessions!||Food: breakfast is perfect- incredible! ||Lunch (included: salad, soup, entree, dessert from buffet) are highly appreciated but entrees were always kinda cold||Dinner: obviously very fancy at the first glimpse- unfortunately most dishes extremely salty - no matter if soup, fish, meats, vegetables ||Pleasure Pool: nice ‘hot’ outdoor pool: temperature is fine as long as the sun is out. In rainy days it’s a little to cold to enjoy this pool a little longer:||Towels: you need to get your towels exchanged at the reception- one day our wait time was 15 minutes because of check-ins||Some more issues, which should not occur in this price range||||My suggestion: invest some Euros more for 5 nearby - you will enjoy MUCH more quality, relax...

Perfect resort to relax and enjoy the environment of Achenkirch. The reception ladies are very friendly and helpfull. We were lucky the weather was good in October 2020 so we could enjoy the chairs in the garden and enjoy the outside swimmingpool (warm water) Our room is spacious with a large bathroom (bath & shower), nice sitting area with TV and a great view from the balcony on the mountains, skiarea and village of Achenkirch. The bed was perfect and large. The sport, spa & sauna area is in the basement which you can enter with the elavator. This area is very clean and you do have a lot of privacy. The garage has enough space for around 30 cars and otherwise you can park outside near the garden, all private area. Breakfast is very good with enough choises. Fresh juices and your eggs are prepared by the friendly chef in the kitchen. Dinner, which you choose from the menu during breakfast, is always very tastefull and presented like a 5 star restaurant. The only thing we didn't like is the table that will be assigned to you. We couldn't change it. Reason we wanted to change is the distance to the people left and right from us. This wasn't coronaproof, so we decided to eat late hoping the other quests were finished already. Overall the service was good and friendly and they listen if you have wishes regarding food or room extra's. On the day of leaving we bought the Reiterhof bathrobes due to their comfort. Absolutely worth a visit.
