On a bit of a road trip, this bumbling British family took “the scenic route” through the Alps. Under prepared as always, we decided to use Google maps to find a bakery and this one came up. We were hoping for some snacks, but oh my gosh… we struck GOLD! As soon as we walked in, we were met by a smiling, lovely lady who very graciously accommodated my poor German. We selected a selection of cakes and some drinks. The cakes and pastries were HUGE, I am not sure what the British name for them is, but all of them were delicious!!! The coffee was decent too. A couple of locals had walked in and we had some nice banter, and the wonderfully charming lady who served us just made us feel so very welcome. It was exactly what we needed to continue on our journey....

Getränke stehen ausreichend zur Verfügung, es ist naturgemäß sehr warm in der Backstube, also entsprechende Kleidung anziehen. Man steht die ganze Zeit direkt in der Backstube, das ist durchaus auch anstrengend, es gibt eine Pause zwischen den 2 Broten für einen raschen Kaffee und etwas Kuchen.
