A brand new Scandi style hotel quite literally on the slopes (having taken over an old tired one, revamped and extended you’d never know). Unsure what to expect it was such a great find. Rooms were a good size, fully equipped kitchenette, warm and bright. The hotel’s restaurant was one of the best in the village and breakfast had lots of choice although didn’t vary much during our stay. There is a modern pool, loads of lounges and multiple saunas too. The lifts are right outside the hotel, there is a huge boot room with lockers included. The area is connected to the Ski Circus via lifts and slopes (so you can ski over to Saalbach if you like). The town is a good 30 minute walk away, sometimes a little too far after a long day skiing. The town isn’t huge but offers a supermarket, some bars, a few small restaurants here and there and some scattered shops. There a couple of big ski rental shops right next to the hotel. There are some more options around but you have to explore. Most visitors are seasonal locals often returning each year (about 80% apparently)(often German or Austrian but some English too). Hotel staff were friendly enough but upon checking in they weren’t forthcoming with other places to eat than the hotel, they didn’t explain the area to us and didn’t explain many of the hotels amenities unless asked first. Most hotels have a map of the area and explain what’s going on, where to go, choices etc….Don’t expect help with bags to your room and didn’t get a sense of a 5 star service. However, this doesn’t mean bad service, just something you might expect improved on given the standard of the hotel, and we’d certainly go back for another stay. If you’re looking for a new stylish hotel, right on the slopes, in a less expensive area than the main towns that is a little quieter too then this is your perfect place. If you’re after a party spot with lots going on and a big town to with lots of places to eat and drink then...

Read moreWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent – a great variety and everything fresh and tasty. The half-board dinner was also delicious and well prepared each evening.
What truly stood out was the amazing wellness area. I especially appreciated the daily sauna rituals, which took place every day at 5 and 6 p.m. – a perfect way to relax and unwind.
There were only two small downsides. The service, particularly during dinner, wasn’t always very guest-friendly – sometimes it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. Also, no drinks (not even water) were included with the dinner as part of the half-board, which felt a bit inconvenient.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would...
