CASALPIN Chalets — Hotel in Gemeinde Brand

Stayed at Casalpin for a week as a family of four. The wooden houses were well designed in a modern chalet style. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need (Note though, that while there are dish soap, dishwasher tabs etc. you will not find any basics such as salt & pepper, oil & vinegar etc. Keep that in mind when packing, as shopping in Brand is quite limited.). Bedrooms were a good size. Beds, bedding and linen were comfortable and in a rustic design. Bathroom was modern and spacious, shower worked well. You can pre-order food items to wait in your fridge upon arrival. We did so, things got a bit messed up. Guest service, who is very friendly and helpful, worked it out quickly and everything got fixed within the hour. We would like to point out that some people in other reviews criticized the high price (160 Euros) for final cleaning. Well, the house was in absolute spotless condition when we arrived. There was not a single spot that looked somewhat filthy or needed a clean so we were happy to pay. When booking, ask for a house that is farther from the parking lot and main street. There are some houses right at the parking lot and some which sit right at the main street. While that street isn't terribly busy, some people might feel disturbed by this setting. Also it might be good to know that there are no washer/dryers available. An overnight laundry service is being offered at 15 Euros/load. Hallo, seit 5 Jahren fahren wir ins Brandnertal und seit kurzem übernachten wir in den CASALPIN Chalets. Ich will hier nicht die Gegend bewerten. Ich finde, das kann jeder für sich entscheiden, ob er ein wunderschönes Bergpanorama, einen idyllischen Fluss, oder Brand als süßes kleines Dörfchen als schönen Urlaubsort für sich entdecken will. Die Unterkunft im CASALPIN kann aber ganz objektiv als hervorragend bewertet werden. Die Chalets sind geräumig, sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet (ich würde mir noch einen Toaster wünschen) und duften nach Holz. Ein großes Plus ist aber der Service. Es gibt bei Ankunft keine Rezeption, sondern "nur" Gelis Telefonnummer. Nach kurzem Anklingeln steht dann Geli als offene, hilfsbereite und kompetente Ansprechpartnerin bei Ankunft oder sonstigen Fragen zur Verfügung. Ein Erlebnis würde ich hier gerne als Beispiel nennen: Digitale Gästekarten; wir hatten ein kleines Problem aufgrund einer geänderten Buchung, dass ein paar Gästekarten digital nicht zur Verfügung standen. Dies ist mir am Anreisetag gegen 22:30 Uhr aufgefallen. Ich habe also eine E-Mail geschrieben, ob das bitte nochmals überprüft werden könne. Am darauffolgenden Morgen um 6:30 Uhr hatte ich die Antwort in meinem Postfach mitsamt allen digitalen Gästekarten. Das ist schon ein super Service, aber Geli setzt noch einen obendrauf. Am Vormittag lagen unsere Gästekarten auch noch ausgedruckt auf dem Terrassentisch vor unserer Türe. Hier sieht man sehr schön wie viel Mühe sich das Team gibt. We stayed for a long weekend in May could not have been happier with the chalet. It was spacious, clean and a 5 min walk from the centre of Brand.||The chalets are beautifully located on the edge of Brand with stunning views, you can walk to town along the main road or via a beautiful scenic route along the river.||The chalet was also well stock with cutlery and kitchen utensils.
