Hotel Leobersdorfer Hof — Hotel in Gemeinde Leobersdorf

The hotel is one of the new breed that isn’t manned continuously. Outside hours you are greeted by an ATM . You enter a code and it prints your room access key. Room is very spartan and clean. Towels were thin but I didn’t expect anymore.||The bed was firm consisting of two singles pushed together. Two single doonas adorned the bed as is usual in these Austrian budget hotels.||Breakfast was well catered for with espresso coffee, eggs & bacon to order, fruit, cereal and cold plates.||Parking was good. We drove to Baden to a Greek restaurant for dinner. The was excellent. Check out Akropolis. Good atmosphere and plenty of good Greek food. Best salads and lamb in Austria. Lamb is from New Zealand, a real treat for us Aussies.||The hotel is fair priced and good for its style. Personally I was expecting a more traditional decor than the Formica and plastic flowers. We stayed at this hotel on the way to a ski resort and it was a great choice as it was also very close to Vienna. The hotel has its own parking free for customers and if you arrive late there is a self-service check-in that is easy to use. The triple room we stayed in was comfortable with a double bed and a couch that was already transformed into a cozy double bed. I really liked the bathroom that had enough space to put your things (even for 3 persons). We rested well and had a nice breakfast in a bright and pleasant room. We stayed just for one night after the wedding party but the place is excellent , good price, nice rooms and bathroom, excellent breakfast , far beyond the hotel level of 3 stars , anyhow wenn passing Vienna better to stay here or to go to airport by car than to go to the city hotel….special is that the reception is not open the whole time but to check in there is a "cash-machine-style" unit out side of hotel where you can register and receive your room keys without reception.
