Almajur — Hotel in Gemeinde Mittelberg

Stayed here for a week with my family. The apartment itself was very spacious and well-equiped. We had a balcony with the most amazing view of the alps. It was incredible to wake up to that every morning. You get a Gastekarte which gives you free public transport and free use of the cable cars (which cost 20 euro pp normally). Staff were so friendly and obliging but without imposing. We requested for our room not to be cleaned and we weren't bothered once by cleaning staff. While we were there the bar was closed, as it was off season, but they had no problem serving us beers in the bar area in spite of this. We stayed in a suite that sleep 4! Rooms were very decent and big and caretered for all we needed, including a kitchen and a lovely fireplace.||Bathroom was very big but a tick tire. The terrace gave views to lovely mountain scenery and breakfast was rather decent. Staff and family owners were really nice and accommodating.||Bus stop is in from of the hotel. Hotel ist next to a bus station which you can use to drive to the many ski lifts in the area. Some rooms are modernized and very nice, some feel quite dated, but I guess they will be modernized soon too. Breakfast buffet has many options, even for vegetarians and vegans and is quite delicious. There is a free sauna and swimming pool in the basement which you can use in the evening.
