Hotel Kirchbichlhof — Hotel in Hippach

We stayed in room 1 in the annex. Nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Sufficient closet space. Good size bathroom. Excellent view of the mountains. Room 1, 11 (and 21?) did not have their balcony accessible from inside the room, but from the hallway. Our friends had two extra beds in their room (no. 14) which was way too cramped. Also, their room had no view.|We bought a packaged trip (with half board and ski-passes for the entire Zillertal Arena) and considering this, the price was fair. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinners less,interesting for my taste. Our friends bought the 4 euro lunch packs they offer, but this was not value for money (a breakfast roll, a juice box, an apple, and a cereal bar). They serve snacks (cake) weekday afternoons if you return early from skiing, but drinks are extra (for all meals except breakfast). There is only Internet in the area with bar/fireplace and they charge 15 euros for a week. You can also buy by the hour but that is very expensive. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the Horbergbahn lift to the Penken area and several other great ski areas can be reached by car within 30 minutes. The skibus has a stop right outside the hotel. Visit nearby Mayrhofen which has a wide selection of shops. There is almost not enough parking space avalable, but we managed to squeeze...

Family of 7 stayed here for 10 nights in August.|Spotlessly clean hotel, modern bedrooms with beautiful mountain views. Set just across the road from the village church which added to the Austrian charm.|Food was just as good as you would get in any 4 star in Austria the only difference is that it was buffet style. However plenty of choice and the hot option were always hot.|No spa facilities but there is a lovely sports centre with outdoor pool in the village which is free if your staying at this hotel or with your summer Zillercard.|Easy to get to the train station and bus stops outside so you can get about the valley easily. |Hired e bikes locally which are amazing and can get you up the mountains with little effort.|Would definitely recommend this hotel for a...

Great hotel ,great location ,Staff very pleasant and very helpful with a greeting in the morning and evening, Food / great breakfast and Buffet evening meal had 4 0r 5 choice of mains ,and excellent room with valley and mountain view .train stop is 5 to 7 minute walk ,trip to Mayrhofen 10 minutes at 2 euro each way.had a very pleasant walk from Hippach to Mayrhofen along the river path ,takes about 45 minutes .after Tyrolean evening in Mayrhofen we took a taxi back 11.00 PM it cost 16 euro, bus and train stop around 7.30 PM .Everything you see in the photos is exactly as it is .Overall a great place to stay and great area to visit .Will definitely be returning in the future as its my wifes favourate...
