GARNI DIAS — Hotel in Kappl

Great place! A very friendly and accomodating host. We arrived very early at 6 am, but we could sit in the breakfast room where we also got a great breakfast. At 8am our rooms were ready so we could check in. We had 3 separate rooms next to each other with each our own bathroom and an additional kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed: oven, microwave and even a dishwasher. The sauna facilities were great after a day of skiing. The house is very close to the skibus but the town center is a bit of a walk up. You can take the bus. At the end of the day the bus doesn't always stop at the house, in that case it's better to get off at the kappl bergbahn (or ask the bus driver some don't mind making an additional stop). Kappl ski area is very nice but we mostly skied in Ischgl which was amazing. It has 3 great ski routes and very wide and nice ski slopes. Our host also gave us prove of residence so we could get a lift pass up after 14.30am for free at the day of arrival.

Ich war für einen Skiurlaub in Kappl und Ischgl in diesem Hotel. Hervorzuheben ist das exzellente Frühstück und die überaus große Gastfreundschaft der Familie Kleinheinz. Die Hotelpreise sind m. E. günstig für diese Gegend. Das Hotel besitzt einen kleinen sowie feinen Spa-Bereich. Ein gutes, reichhaltiges und preisgünstiges Abendessen kann man im daneben gelegenen Gasthaus Hirschen genießen.||Es soll jedoch nicht verschwiegen werden, daß der Ortsname Lochau die Lage richtig bezeichnet. Das Hotel liegt im "Loch" unterhalb Kappl, D.h. im Winter kommt hier nicht viel Sonne hin. Was jedoch einen Skifahrer nicht stören sollte. Leider sind auch die Skibusverbindungen zu den Skigebieten relativ kompliziert und die Busse meistens überfüllt, so daß man sich darauf einrichten sollte, täglich das Auto...
