Sport Huber — Hotel in Kappl

"Sport Huber" makes offers that they cannot fulfill. Their website says that everyone under 14 years old gets a 50% discount. This is not true. They said that our child is too tall (170 cm). And we supposedly chose VIP equipment (skis - Rossignol RT, you can buy new ones in the online store for 240 Eur; old model atomic boots :)). Therefore, their boss refused to apply a 50% discount. He offered to rent this equipment as TOP and apply a 20% discount. We received such a discount when renting an apartment. We agreed to the offer because we came for a vacation, not to drive around rental shops. Other "VIP" skis for rent are also of different quality. Just returned from a skiing trip to Ischgl and I must mention the services of Sport Huber just down the road in Kappl. I found the shop on Google and decided to have our skis serviced there because they had the best reviews in the area. Easy to see why once you have been. Not one of the large chains such as Intersport, this is a family run business with a wealth of knowledge and the kind of friendly, personal service that can only come from family run, independent shops. Add the latest technology in ski servicing and you have a winner. As a mixed group, we hired skis, had skis serviced and bought skis. The whole experience from first walking through the door was first class and when we left after dropping off the hire skis we felt we had made new friends. Well done...
