Bergbahn Wildkogel — Hotel in Marktgemeinde Neukirchen am Großvenediger

Hi all. We spent the first week of February in the resort and unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Everything was wrong: weather, quality of slopes, politeness of the stuff, ski lifts management. The personal at the entrance down the main lift shown even rude behavior. Ones I stuck in the lift queue on top of the resort for 45 minutes with no information from the stuff about the expected waiting time. There are only two lifts there so you do not have much choice. I also remember the skiers politeness in Austria some years ago, nobody squeezed in the queue in front of your. The things are changed though since then. The weather was not very good so half of the time the slopes were closed. Even though the refund was possible the cashiers were closed too early. So if you plan to ask for the refund do it on the last day before you go skiing. There are few things I like though. There is a nice wide and long run on the top which was very good for my new-skier grandson. The quality of food on top...

Had a great experience using the Bergbahnen ski lift in Wildkogel. Even on a busy day, the wait time for the chairlift was only about 10 minutes, which was pretty efficient. The lift itself is well-maintained, and the ride up offers stunning mountain views.

One of the highlights was the convenience—electronic ticket machines make it easy to pre-order online and simply pick up your pass without queuing at a ticket office. A real time-saver!

At the base, there are several well-stocked ski shops, perfect for grabbing last-minute essentials like gloves or goggles. Overall, a well-organized and hassle-free ski lift experience that adds to the enjoyment of skiing...

Fun activity!! We took the cable car to the middle station and from there went through 10 different slides with a special mat. Before each slide you can see on the sign if it is easy, moderate or difficult and decide if to slide or walk. After the slides there is a kiosk for buying ice craem from a machine (2euros)...do it yourself style. Was great and tasty!! Also a very nice cafe and play area. Walking down from there to the entrance was another 45 min on a very steep path...we all felt muscle pain the next day so the better option is to take a bus. Altogether, very...
