We stayed here for 4 nights, with some friends, for New Year’s Eve, 2017. ||They answer very quick at your emails, and we were happy because they offer dinners, so we accepted their offer.||The owners are very friendly and ready to help, supplying with plenty of info regarding the surroundings and skiing possibilities. When we arrived the check in lasted for not more than one-two minutes, we were given the rooms keys, and got back down latter for dinner and the rest of the talking.||The breakfast is very rich for pension standards, with different kind of hams, chesses, yogurts, cereals, milk, honey, etc. High quality food, not cheap stuff.||For the dinners, you have a menu-list and you must choose your dish in the previous evening, so they can have time in the next day to acquire the products and then to prepare the food. The food is perfectly cooked, looks like in a professional restaurant and tastes very yummy. The prices are not high, probably lower than in a restaurant. Besides, you have a fridge with beers, wines, juices, etc, available all-day long. Decent prices for the drinks, too. You also have at your disposal for the rest of the day free cake and a bottle of egg-liqueur, and also an espresso-machine where you can prepare hot drinks (coffee, cappuccino, etc) – these are not for free, you must insert a coin, 1 or 2 EUR, depending on the drink that you choose. A very important pro for us: they allowed us to play cards in the dinning-area before and after dinners, this was very important for us considering that there was nothing else to do in long winter-evenings.||They also offer sauna and game-room with medicinal bicycle, play-station, fussball, darts – unfortunately we didn’t have time to try neither of these because we went skiing. ||The price for accommodation was not to cheap (120 EUR/room/night/ with breakfast), but anyway it was the New Year period and besides, they gave us a large triple room with large double bed + large bed for our child. It is cheaper if you choose an attic room which is smaller, and with shared bathroom.||A little minus: in the end a little issue occurred when we payed because when they made the offer by email they forgot to consider the tourist tax and the breakfast of our son. Note: we think that 4 EUR for a 3-years old boy is too much, considering that our boy eats a slice of bread with honey, or an egg on a good day. It’s for the first time in 3 years when our boy is charged for breakfast. That’s why we had to pay aprox EUR 25,- more than we expected. Anyway, they also offered some extra-stuff during our stay, so I guess it was kind of an offset.||(Maybe) another minus: it’s a little far to walk to the center of the village, especially if you are with a small child and it’s freezing cold outside. But this also could be a positive point because it’s a very calm area.||The distance to the Kitzski resort is aprox 6 km to Hollersbach valley station or 10 km to Hollersbach middlestation. Here is also a parking place, and the slopes area is right next to the parking places – this is the parking place that we used in our...
Read moreLast week I was able to spend the night in the 'Alpenpeter'. I was looking for a centrally located place to stay from where I could easily reach all the ski areas in the area. This was ideal. Gerlos, Saalbach of Westendorf; It doesn't matter, everything was easy to drive from here.
From minute 1 I felt like I was in a good place. The warm welcome and the perfect room immediately gave a good start to the holiday. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Parking spaces are really in front of the hotel.
The breakfast was very good. Different types of bread, scrammbled eggs with bacon, different types of cheeses and ham, delicious fresh fruit, yogurt, local jam/honey, orange juice, coffee, tea, vitamin drinks, water with lemon/mint: I can keep going for a while. There was really nothing missing.
Oli and Jutta are a wonderful host and hostess. They make you feel very comfortable and make you feel immediately at home. A little chat in the morning and they are thoroughly interested in what you have done or what you have experienced.
I have been to Austria several times in recent years, but this address is certainly number 1. Definitely...
Read moreThe hotel is a smaller, family-run business with lots of attention to detail! The Nigmann family is very friendly while respecting guest privacy - a perfect combination. The breakfast was simply wonderful - no wish was left open. The rooms are very clean, the furniture modern and the beds very comfortable. My wife said she has rarely slept so comfortably in a hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come again. Highly recommended. ||||We stayed in the room Alpenliebe 33. This room is on the top floor, but not ideal for very tall guests, as the bed is placed under the roof awning beam and it is easy to hit your head. The other rooms where our friends stayed...
