Luna Studios — Hotel in Schwendau

We was not prepared that Luna Studios was more of a hostel than an apartment with privacy. Yes, there was a pentry with a zink and fridge but no stove or plates, cutlery. Instead there was a kitchen to be used by all eight apartments. I found old and mouldy food in the fridge and the waste was not emptied every day. You could tell that the building had not been properly renovated. The rooms (not apartment) were small but on the good side the bed was very comfortable. The location was great, the village Hippach was cute and had a lot of dining options within walking distance. Also easy to either take the car or skibus...

Modern und hell eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon und Küchenzeile. Die Betten waren bequem und groß. Es gibt einen Keller wo man Ski und Fahrräder etc abstellen kann (jedoch ohne Tür für alle zugänglich). Die Schlüsselübergabe findet kontaktlos und unkompliziert über einen Schlüsseltresor mit Code statt. Bei Problemen findet man im Eingangsbereich direkt eine "Notfallnummer" Diese mussten wir leider direkt benutzen, da unsere Balkontür geklemmt hat und nicht auf ging (bei 35Grad). Nach kurzer Zeit kam eine Rückmeldung über WhatsApp und noch am selben Tag wurde jemand geschickt der das Problem gelöst hat. Desweiteren hat der Toaster in unserem Appartement gefehlt. Auch dieser wurde nach Kontaktaufnahme am nächsten Tag nachgeliefert.

Im Bad gibt es neben dem Waschbecken leider keine Haken für die Handtücher. Die Küche ist ganz ok ausgestattet aber relativ klein/schmal mit 2 Induktionsherdplatten. Allerdings hat ein Pfannenwender o.Ä. gefehlt. Geschirrtücher oder Zewa sind nicht vorhanden. Wir hatten 3 Geschirrspültabs, was für uns ausreichend war. Der Kühlschrank hat ein kleines Eisfach. Die Bahn vor der Tür ist schon ziemlich laut, zumindest wenn man ein Zimmer nach vorne raus hat und wie wir leider keine Klimaanlage. Nachts fährt keine Bahn, aber ab ca 6/6:30uhr geht es los. Was wir noch top fanden war die Möglichkeit zu waschen. Im Keller gab es 2 Waschmaschinen(eine defekt) und 2 Trockner die man über Münzeinwurf(1€) starten konnte. Waschmittel, Zahnpasta, Rasierer, Getränke und was man sonst noch so vergessen hat, konnte man über den "Snackautomaten" erwerben. Was wir sehr praktisch und clever fanden.

Horrible experience in this place. We arrive at 8:30pm expecting to have a clean and ready to use room but it’s not the case. I cannot make dinner because the washing machine is running (what time did they actually clean the room? If they did at all?) cannot go to the toilet because there is no toilet paper. Cannot take a shower because look at the state of the towels (it has hair from a previous tenant), this is clearly not been washed. We are trying to talk to someone but there is no response on their WhatsApp number. Really terrible service in every...
