Coventina Lake Suites — Hotel in Dhaka Metropolitan

Really bad service and policy, if you have any problems, don’t expect them to help you.

I go to Dhaka almost every week, and also this was my second time to choose this place, I accidentally left my passport at home for the first time because I was really sick.

We arrived at 11pm, they told us that I can’t check in because I didn’t have my passport, I apologized and explained that I have the full soft copy pdf of my passport on my phone, and my partner had his passport with him, also I have stayed in this place before, they should have my information in their system.

They just rejected to let us check in also rejected to refund, it means that we couldn’t checked in, had to find another place to stay at 11:30pm while I was super sick, also couldn’t get our money back.

We asked the staff if they can talk to the manager, they just told us to search the number on the website to call, the manager had a really bad attitude, while we were explaining our situation, that manager just hung up the call which was really rude.

We ended up staying in another hotel which is also in Gulshan, good location, good service, good quality and the similar price, the most important thing is that we have also been there and the staff told us no worries he can try to find our information in their system, that way if I don’t have my passport would be fine, and he did it so finally we didn’t have to sleep on the street.

Just be prepared that if you choose to stay here, when the problem occurs, the staff or the manager won’t help you anything, plus there are much more better choices...

I regret staying at this horrible hotel. First of all, it’s Ramadan, and in any decent hotel, Iftar and Sehri are provided as a courtesy. But here? They refused to give me anything just because I was staying for only one night. Their excuse? “Stay 2-3 nights, and we’ll provide Iftar.” What kind of nonsense is that? A guest is a guest, whether for one night or a week!

To make things worse, the hotel was filthy—dirty rooms, stained sheets, and an overall unhygienic environment. Clearly, they don’t care about cleanliness or customer service.

If you’re looking for a hotel that respects guests, provides proper service, and at least maintains basic hygiene, STAY AWAY from this place....

Rooms: We stayed Their for 2 nights and the rooms are very well maintained, clean and functional. The kitchen room is ideal for light cooking. We did some cooking for our our baby, though we brought our own portable cooker.

Service : service lacks a lot of attention as we faced delay in room cleaning requests. The brakefast was ok.

Location : Location is good if anyone has plans around gulshan,banani etc. Uber and Pathao can be easily be functioned around this area.

Room rent: We stayed at the one bedroom serviced apartment at BDT 9k/night which I find ok, considering all the benefits...
