Sushi Tei is one of my favourite restaurants here in Bangladesh. They serve authentic Japanese food and are super delicious 👌🏼
✅ Tastes like authentic Japanese food. ✅ Each & every dish was 10/10 according to me. ✅ Amazing place with good decorations. ✅ Good service & friendly staff.
Out of all these, Salmon Oyako Spicy Roll was my favourite. It was a bit spicy and had the perfect blending of flavours in my mouth. Tasted really fresh and the sause was creamy but had the perfect amount 👌🏼 The salmon skin was thick and unlike some restaurants who but a tiny bit 🙄 I still crave it everyday.
Chuka Iidako is basically baby octopus on top of your sushi and it’s not available in any other restaurants here in Bangladesh (as far as I know). This tasted good as well, something new to try out if you guys didn’t have this before.
Lobster Salad was my second favourite out of all these. It was a bit spicy and very creamy and super fresh as well. It had more sauce than the Salmon Oyako one but the sauce is what gave it it’s flavour. Really enjoyed it.
We ordered Chuka Wakame by mistake and didn’t regret it at all. This was my first time trying out a seaweed sushi and I totally loved it. The taste was very different but good.
Overall: I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and even I would visit them again soon. I really want to try out more items from their menu as it was so good. Not even a single item...
Read moreThe food was not bad; though they didn't have any sauce other than teriyaki on the evening I went. It's a bit strange. However, the main problem was the service. The people who work there have no idea how to serve. First of all, when waiters bring the menu or food they need to serve the ladies first. I suppose at Sushi Tei they were not told about this. Then they brought 1 person's food but not the other's!! Their excuse was, "we bring appetisers first." Well, it wasn't the appetisers. It was the main course. Then they stated that the other dish was steak so it was taking longer. Why did they bring the fish early then? Shouldn't all the main course items be brought together? Finally, when they were asked to clean the plates, instead of asking if we would like to see the menu for desserts they brought the bill. Frankly, it was a jaw dripping experience. How do these restaurants operate? Don't the people who manage them know the very basics of training...
Read moreI was one of the regular customer of Sushi Tei, i used to go there very often when they were located at cristal Palace, food was great and i always was fully satisfied with their service, quality, cleanness.. Variety of drinks. But when i went to their newly located restaurant, I was really surprised to see their downfall, No safety precaution for covid - no thermal checking, no hand sanitising while entering the restaurant.. Just kept one sanitiser bottle on the table but how many people already touched that bottle you don't even know. Standard of food quality decreased Limited drink option, didn't even have any soft drinks - like coke, sprite.. Etc Service level decreased Cutlery, plate, glass seems like not clean properly.
I will think twice before going again to Sushi Tei. Really feel sorry to see how a good restaurants standard...
