Good Points! The room itself was fine. Clean, nice shower. Good parking. Close to lake. And if you are there in summer, it is great for families on the lake for swimming, kite surfing. Some staff were kind and accommodated English.
The Bad (read on for advice how to submit complaint) We booked this for 2 nights (30th & 31st Dec 2024). Online they advertised a NY package deal, 477EUR " each night" (948 for 2nights,for 2 persons) which included:
We didnât get what was offered, AND, the hotel conveniently took the description of the package off the website just before you could cancel (a week before). When we arrived, not only could they not give us any written confirmation of what the package included, when we asked 5 different staff members, they all had different responses what the package included. We basically got no help from staff or management after asking repeatedly what we could do if they could not honor what they sold us.
What did we get on the Dec 30th for 477EUR a night? We did NOT get champagne for 2 nights. Instead we got 1 bottle of 5 euro cava (this is grocery store price, hotel will get wholesale prices). We did NOT get an additional one the next night, even though the package we bought AND the invoice promised it. We got a low quality 3 course meal (no coffee even) which was pre-fabricated food from a restaurant supply store. If we ate off the menu, we would have had a better choice, and it would have been cheaper. We did get a bottle of cheap Spanish wine with it. And water. No coffee was offered, even when requested. The standard buffet breakfast all the hotel guests got. No entertainment (fair enoughâŠ. It was not NYE yet, we did get a band the 31st)
They should not have charged the New Years Eve price for the night of the 30th. And it felt like they were trying to deceive us as the entire staff had different ideas of what we were sold, and they could not give us evidence of the package sold.
In addition, instead of offering to help us and discuss a solution, they told us we were being difficult (see managements response).
CONCLUSION: The hotel/grounds/villas are nice. However, AVIOD booking offers for dinner/all inclusion packages at all costs.

I stayed there for 20 days on a business trip and they have only one restaurant that you have to book the day before along with the people staying in the 700 villas & chalet's on the lake, as we did not know exactly what time we would return each day we had no chance as they make no concession for hotel residence. Also breakfast starts at 7am and as we had to leave the hotel every day at 7am to get to our work site which was 30 mins away the woman running the breakfast room would not let us have breakfast early or take food with us. Me and my colleague had paid for 40 breakfasts in advance but that made no difference! At the weekends we sore her turn people away if they came to breakfast one minute late and the room was full. As this hotel is in the middle of no ware not getting into the restraint is a big problem especially on a Monday and Tuesday as all other restaurant in villages that are at least 20 mins drive away are closed because they open on Saturdays & Sundays. I waited 12 days to have the fridge in my room replaced because it didn't work so I couldn't use that for food! just to finish, this joke of a hotel, you cant use the bar which is in the restraint if you don't have a table. Although the rooms are nice and the lake area is beautiful the view from the rooms that look toward the lake are of a very large and noisy building site as they are still developing. Plus the so called hotel has no laundry service. We will never use this hotel again!!!! And the woman running the breakfast room needs a lesson in customer service as she is very rude and bullies the young girls that work in the breakfast room. As I now see the hotels reply to my review i cannot believe that they would lie in such a manner. In actual fact another guest came to my colleague to offer support regarding the rudeness he experienced. Not to mention the person making the reply on behalf of the Hotel should not mention another name as this is my review. I have stayed at many hotels around the world over the years including Best Westerns and try to give an honest review which thousands' of people have viewed. Unfortunately this is the first one in over 15 years I have not given a top review to, but it is honest. Nous avons choisi cet hĂŽtel car ils acceptent les animaux. Il est en effet stipulĂ© sur leur site internet que nos animaux de compagnie ont eux aussi droit Ă passer de belles vacances mais par ailleurs lâaccĂšs au restaurant ainsi quâau Spa (cela va de soi pour le Spa) leur est interdit. Nous prenons connaissance de cette rĂšgle et comptons bien entendu la respecter.
Cependant, nous avons Ă©tĂ© déçu de voir que lâhĂŽtel qui se dit DogFriendly nâest pas si Friendly que çaâŠ
Lors de notre rĂ©servation pour le restaurant, nous avons Ă peine le temps de dire que nous souhaitons une table pour le soir que la jeune fille nous coupe et dit, dâune maniĂšre peu professionnelle et quelque peu dĂ©sagrĂ©able : « par contre le chien, pas dans le restaurant, seulement Ă lâextĂ©rieur » Sur quoi nous lui rĂ©pondons : « aucun problĂšme, nous pouvons nous installer en terrasse » La jeune fille semble alors agacĂ©e et nous dissuade mĂȘme de nous y installer et nous suggĂšre de laisser notre chien dans la chambre lors du repas. Nous insistons alors pour y aller. Notre rĂ©servation est alors bookĂ©e et la demoiselle fini par nous "rassurer" en nous affirmant que la terrasse est dotĂ©e de parasols et de plaids en cas de froid.
Moment du repas, nous nous rendons au restaurant accompagnĂ© de notre chien. "Lâaccueil" se fait par une dame⊠un accueil trĂšs agressif Ă la vue du chien. Elle nous rappelle que ceux-ci sont interdits dans le restaurant. Ce Ă quoi nous rĂ©pondons que nous avons rĂ©servĂ© en terrasse. Une fois de plus, de lâagacement et une rĂ©ponse froide et directe : « la terrasse est fermĂ©e, nous annonçons de la pluie. Câest impossible. » Nous rĂ©pĂ©tons alors que lors de notre rĂ©servation, notre demande dâĂȘtre en terrasse est acceptĂ©e. La dame nous rĂ©ponds briĂšvement et en soupirant : « okay okay⊠allez vous installez. » Deux portes mĂšnent sur la terrasse, une sortie de secours et une autre se trouvant au dĂ©but de la salle de restaurant. Machinalement, nous nous avançons pour passer via le restaurant. CoupĂ©s dans notre Ă©lan par une nouvelle agression verbale : « euh non ! Demi tour, passer par la porte juste lĂ . Par lâextĂ©rieur directement. » Nous voilĂ donc seuls, sur la terrasse, face aux autres clients du restaurant. Aucun parasol dĂ©ployĂ©. Ni mĂȘme une fois installĂ©s. Heureusement, nous sommes servis par un jeune homme et une jeune fille exemplaires. Notre petit compagnon a mĂȘme eu droit Ă une gamelle dâeau. Repas correct. Pour lâaddition, mon compagnon rentre par la sortie de secours et moi via le restaurant afin dâaller rĂ©gler ma note. Je tombe sur le responsable. Dommage que nous ne lâayons pas vu avant. Il a fait preuve de professionnalisme et de comprĂ©hension au vu de nos explications. Certes les chiens ne sont pas acceptĂ©s dans leur restaurant, cependant ce que nous nâacceptons pas, câest dâĂȘtre traiter de la sorte, un manque de respect total.
Lors du petit dĂ©jeuner, nous laissons donc Ă contre coeur notre chien dans la chambre car il se fait soit disant uniquement dans la salle du restaurant. InstallĂ©s, nous apercevons dehors, 2 personnes dĂ©jeunant en compagnie de leur Toutou. Je pose donc la question Ă une serveuse qui me rĂ©pond quâil nây a bien entendu aucun problĂšme Ă ce que nous dĂ©jeunions dehors. Sur ce, mon compagnon sâen va rĂ©cupĂ©rer notre chien afin quâil profite avec nous. Sur le trajet, il croise 2 couples diffĂ©rents qui sont tout aussi déçus des possibilitĂ©s avec leur chien. Il serait bon dâĂȘtre raccord sur vos "rĂšgles". Petit dĂ©jeuner, 21âŹ/pers⊠ce nâest mĂȘme pas la peine dâen dire plus. Cela ne vaut pas son prix.
En rĂ©sumĂ©, chien acceptĂ© Ă condition quâil passe de belles vacances dans la chambre. DâaprĂšs la rĂ©ceptionniste, lâespace Fun nâest pas sous leur responsabilitĂ© mais sachez quâil nâest pas accessible aux compagnons Ă quatre pattes. Chambre, abords du lac et⊠rien dâautre malheureusement.
