Wilson Point — Hotel in San Pedro Town

I wanted to take just a minute and thank you for our stay at your beautiful home. It most definitely exceeded our expectations. We loved absolutely everything about it, and it was perfect for our group.

You probably know this already, but the biggest asset to your home is the team of folks you have. Barb was amazing and always responsive with anything we needed or questions we had. We ended up booking a day with Eric Guevara, five big gold stars. He was a fabulous recommendation. His tour was affordable, fun, safe, and he let us decide how to spend our time. Elena also made recommendations for massages and those young ladies gave us the best massages we have ever had. (It was not Juanita, it was another group.) Manolo was amazing and reliable, even came one day on short notice to take one of our group to a doctor. And wow, I really don’t even have words to describe Alex and Elena. They are absolute salt of the earth people. Elena grocery shopped for us beforehand, cooked us three delicious meals (we wish we had done more!) kept the house clean, made recommendations for anything we needed. Alex was always working. At the crack of dawn he was out there taking care of the grounds and he would come over well into the night and shut the hot tub down after we’d gone to bed. I don’t know when he sleeps. WOW. This place is absolutely amazing. Elena and Alex are the epitome of hospitality. The view is amazing, moonrises over the water were great, dock fishing (we brought our own gear) was fun and the tours we took began right at the end of the dock. Golf carts for rent were used to go to town on multiple occasions for shopping, restaurants and the long drive for a day at Secret Beach. The on-site gym was used daily and the pool was clean and needed after long days exploring San Pedro. Elena's cooking (we used it for two nights while we were there) was better than the restaurants we went to and they were really good. Wilson Point was an absolutely fabulous place for my family to stay during our Spring Break. The pictures don't do it justice. I would highly recommend for anyone (families or groups) who enjoy pool and hot tub living while enjoying a break taking view. The property manager, Alex, should run his own children's camp as he took our boys fishing off the pier almost everyday (giving us a much needed break!) Additionally, the location is just off the beaten path, allowing ample peace and quiet. Note: if you are expecting a beach- this house does not have it (nor does most of Ambergris).
