Kokusai Hotel s.r.l — Hotel in Kanata

It seems to be rather a long time since this place was reviewed in TA. But its definitiely still open, and is in fact a pretty decent place to stay. It's located on a main road in Cochabamba, only a few blocks from the centre of the action (14th Sept Squ. etc). In the daytime, the surroundings are pretty noisy, and I could hear most of the din from my room even though it faced a courtyard at the back, but at night there was not a problem.||My room was a single. The room was not carpeted, but had hard floors. All was scrupulously clean. But the bed was comfortable. There was no in-room safety deposit box. There was no A/C, but the cool nights of Cochabamba meant that this was not a problem. There was a balcony. There was no outdoor furniture but the chair could easily be moved out there in the evening so that it could be used.||The public areas of the hotel are classy-looking and have seating areas.||The hotel restaurant was closed down, but breakfast, which was included in the price I paid, was brought to the room.||The staff were very helpful and indeed jovial. I was able to check in straight away (by prior arrangement) when I arrived in the morning, at no extra charge.||This hotel offers most of the things you need at a keen price. I would recommend...

Hice un viaje con mi Madre (bastante mayor) y para evitar inconvenientes hice las reservas por internet y fuí con el voucher impreso. Apenas llegamos me dijeron que ese no era el precio, ante mi insistencia y la evidencia del voucher impreso que ellos mismos me habían enviado (firmado por el administrador), accedieron a respetar el precio (aparentemente) después de tres días de estadía, cuando me quise retirar ¡¡ME COBRARON LO QUE SE LES ANTOJÓ!! no respetaron el Voucher, me cobraron una tarifa disparatada, adicionaron impuestos y gastos que uno no entiende... ¡¡¡No me aceptaron la Tarjeta de Crédito (porque era Argentina)!!!, el momento que pasamos con mi anciana Madre fué ¡¡TERRORIFICO!! No se lo deseo a nadie... La falta de seriedad y el mal trato de este Hotel debe hacerse conocer, no puede quedar así. Me sentí ESTAFADA...HUMILLADA... Disculpen mi bronca pero no podía dejar de contar mi "Horrible" experiencia. Ah, me olvidaba, el servicio al aeropuerto que publicitan...NO...

La verdad no esperábamos encontrar un hotel de 3 estrellas que esté tan bonito. Habíamos visitado otro de 4 y uno de 5 estrellas antes (en otras ciudades, otros países), y la diferencia con el de 5 es solamente el lujo del desayuno, y la diferencia con el de 4 (el del aeropuerto de Lima) es poco perceptible. Es un edificio bien mantenido, y bastante limpio. El único problema es que no hay aire acondicionado (muy pocos hoteles lo tienen). El desayuno estaba bien y la gente que nos atendió fué amable. Probablemente el único problema es la ubicación, pero no es culpa del hotel, sino mas bien parece ser culpa del gobierno local que olvidó dar mantenimiento a la ciudad. Consideramos que el hotel es recomendable y...
