Friendly waiter came promptly to table, brought drinks out reasonably quickly. Got our orders just as asked, and I did have some special requests for the prep of my dish. Meals took quite a while to be brought out though, without the place being packed, that's why I'm deducting a star. My companions' dishes came out after about 25 minutes, then mine (because they themselves, before serving me, noticed they added an ingredient I asked to leave out and had to start over) came about 10 minutes after that. I asked for a "Lomo a la Pimienta" (pepper steak), they took around 20 minutes to serve. Pepper sauce was watery and lacked flavor, I struggled to find the pepper taste. Seems like somebody who never made a sauce prepared it. Meat was soft but overcooked, dry and flavorless. Sad to see good meat go to waste. On the side I got two large cold boiled potatoes, cold rice and 3 tomato slices. This was one of the worst pepper steak I ever had and way too expensive to ever try again. Fun ice cream place. The coolest thing to me is that the people that work there dress up really nice. I think that makes it feel special.

My husband grew up loving this place. Now bringing our children back it is just as fun.

Even though the place next door is much cheaper it seems like everyone lines up for this place instead.
