We booked a Queen Suite for our stay at the Bolivian Rooms and Suites. We choose to stay in the Zona Sur area as were flying straight to La Paz from sea level and suspected we would struggle acclimatising (the Zona Sur area is a lot lower in altitude than ventral La Paz). We were really happy with our choice of accommodation. We had a lovely big room with a small Kitchenette which made it easy to prepare food we bought at the supermarket a very short walk away. Read moreThe lady was very nice who helped us and warmed up our food. But the room was not in any way comfortable. The bed is like laying on cardboard and so small if you are a couple like we were. I rate it 2 stars simply because of how small the room is plus how bad the bed was. The shower was decent. There's no room service or anything so once we were out of toilet paper we used our own. Breakfast was also good, and the hotel offers a laundry service with a very quick turnaround (2 hours).
