Hostel Pata&Perro — Hotel in Municipio Tarija

On my trip through South America, this was one of my favorite places by far. It is a unique cosy hostel. I could book a whole room with private bathroom for me and my friend which made it very comfortable for us. The inner court is so beautiful and perfect to meet people. Eduardo and his sister organized amazing events in the short time that we were there. For the anniversary of the hostel we were all invited to an amazing dinner. There were music concerts, theatre plays in the hostel. I have rarely seen such great hospitality. It creates an amazing atmosphere which makes it much easier to meet people and have great experiences, in and outside the hostel. It was an absolute pleasure staying at this hostel! Super good location and facilities for the price. The Wifi works great and there are cosy common areas to hang out and meet other travelers from around the world. If you pay a little more, you get an absolutely splendid breakfast, which included fresh juices and eggs everyday! The Mercado central and the most popular Museums are right in front of the door and if you need ANY other type of recommendation of where to go or what to do, the owner, Edward, is incredibly helpful and nice. The Volunteers supporting the team round the whole thing up, so you got yourself a nice little community space where a lot of laughs, food and music are shared. I don't exaggerate telling that this is definitely the best hostel i've experienced in my trip in South America... It's not just a hostel... it's a gallery, a museum, a concert, a theatre, a family... it's a magic place full of positive energy. Edward the owner had this incredible idea to mix tourism art music and bolivian traditions providing a unique experience. There are always people playing music around and some local artist.The hostel is really new, location is perfect in the city center, rooms are big with veeeery big and comfortable beds, super clean, good kitchen is you like cooking.
