Gran Hotel Canada — Hotel in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

We stayed four nights in one of the 3rd floor apartments. It was about $50 US a night. ||||It had a fridge and a stove, which allowed us to cook for ourselves, which was a nice break from the heavy Bolivian food for a few days. The rooms are a little outdated, but large and clean. The shower is super hot or super cold, but has lots of pressure.||||The breakfast is typical, but has eggs so it's filling. ||||It's on a very busy street and is loud early in the mornings. ||||Quick 10 min walk to plaza, lots of busses and taxis on the street. ||||Check out time is 12, but they let us stay until 3 with no problem.||||The TV is super small and hard to see if that is important to you. We read a lot of complaints about the internet, but it worked very well the whole time...

A great place if you want yo stay for a couple o days, prices are great (acceptable breakfast), clean sheets, and towels, i didn't try the wi-fi, A/C are well maintained hot showers, clean bathroom. Staff are kind, place is located close to the BNB, Entel and Tigo central offices, the main square, exchange houses, and 2 markets (dont go to the nearest market los pozos unless have with you someone...

Wir hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer, das offensichtlich renoviert war, auch das Bad. Allerdings reichte der Duschvorhang etwa nur bis zur Kniehöhe, so dass beim Duschen das ganze Bad unter Wasser gesetzt wird. Die Brause ist fest installiert (Durchlauferhitzer), die Temperatur lässt sich leicht regulieren. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich ebenfalls gut einstellen.||Es gibt kostenloses WLAN, das allerdings nur in der Lobby und im Speisesaal funktioniert.||Das Hotel bietet auch eine kostenlose Gepäck-Aufbewahrung nach oder vor dem Checkin/Checkout.||Das Frühstück (inclusive) ist eher dürftig. Wir bekamen je ein warmes Wurst-Käse-Sandwich und ein Brötchen, dazu Butter und Marmelade sowie ein warmes Getränk - das wars, kein Nachschenken...||Es gibt...
