Chobe River Cottages — Hotel in Chobe District

The cottages are conveniently situated near the local Spar, restaurants and boat departures. Gardens are lush and well maintained with a nice pool to break the heat. Parking are behind an electric gate and there was a night guard on duty, so very safe. ||||A nice touch was the turn down service that prepared the sleeper couch while we were on an afternoon river cruise. This does make the lounge a bit tight, but luckily there is a lovely covered patio with a table and 4 chairs where we enjoyed our meals. We were a party of three and knew it might be a bit tight, but we had a very comfortable stay. Nice surprise to get back after dark from a boat cruise and find that the sleeper couch has already been made up for a good night's rest.

Bedroom is a bit tight if you're not a couple (twin beds) but it has both a ceiling fan and aircon.

Bathroom is spacious with a good size shower, plenty of hot water and good pressure.

Kitchen is well appointed with big fridge and enough utensils, 2 plate stove and microwave. The back door led to our own barbecue area.

We booked two cottages for two nights at this place in Kasane. Unluckily something went wrong with our booking and we only got one cottage. The woman behind the desk was really kind and tried to find together with the owner and us a solution for this problem. So with this review I would like to thank them because they did a really good job with solving this problem. Beside this the cottage we got was really nice, it has everything in it and the bed and shower were both good, this is for me very important.
