5-Day Camping Safari with Tony’s Mobile Safari: An Unforgettable Adventure!
Our group of four recently completed a 5-day/4-night camping safari with Tony’s Mobile Safari, starting in Kasane and ending in Maun, visiting Chobe, Savuti, and the Okavango Delta. We can confidently say it was an absolutely amazing experience!
The wildlife sightings were beyond incredible—we saw elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, and many more animals up close! We hardly needed binoculars as Tony’s expert guidance allowed us to observe them from the best angles.
Camping in the wild was a fantastic experience with all the amenities thoughtfully set up by Tony’s outstanding team. Each tent had its own toilet and shower, making it comfortable to enjoy the beauty of the bush. The meals were another highlight—delicious, hearty food cooked fresh for us each day.
Tony’s passion and knowledge of the wildlife and the parks truly made the safari exceptional. He shared fascinating insights and positioned the vehicle perfectly for photos and wildlife observation. Tony also has an incredible ability to find the animals we were hoping to see!
If you're considering a safari, we highly recommend Tony’s Mobile Safari. It was a memorable, seamless experience, and we couldn’t be happier...
Read moreAs part of our 8 days trip, Gula Nkyula of Tony Mobile Safari was our multi tasking guide for Full Day Safari in Chobe National Park and Early Morning Game Drive.
As one can see from the pictures, Gula with his proactiveness and his experiences as a Safari guide, we managed to see 2 sleeping lioness, lots of elephants, hippopotamuses on day 1 via the river route and afternoon cruise.
On day 2 via the upper route, with his persistence and dedication, we were the only group that spotted a leopard, not forgetting 2 giraffes and unfortunately some ‘Namibian’ zebras from afar. The morning drive ended with a cuppa under a gigantic baobab tree with a magnificent view of the Chobe River.
For his hard work, we wanted to buy him lunch but he politely declined and insisted on a takeaway so he can send the jeep for regular maintenance.
Anthony must be proud to have him as a diligent team member.
If there’s something that we were to nick pick, it is the lack of life jackets on the tiny boat as this is a safety concern for non or amateur swimmers even though Chobe River is calm and peaceful but there is always hippopotamuses lurking in...
Read moreOur safari with Tony’s Mobile Safaris was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We saw dozens of lions, including a number of cubs, and even a lioness on the hunt for food. We saw a pack of wild African dogs take down an impala. Not to mention hundreds of elephants, giraffe, hippos, many species of antelopes, monkeys, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, crocodiles, wildebeests and all sorts of birds. That’s not mentioned the highlight, getting up close with the most beautiful leopard you could imagine, before watching a mother leopard and her cub scale a cliff face. All of this was down to our wonderful guide Mabuta and his offsider Bonzo who were incredibly insightful, I learned more about Botswana’s environment from five days with these two than I could have from reading books for a year. Our camps were perfectly presented each day and the food was amazing. If you want the best African safari experience ever - go with Tony’s...
