Pousada Genesis — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Cabo Frio

We stayed at Pousada Genesis for two nights when travelling to Arraial do Cabo. The pousada is centrally located, about 10 mins walk from the main restaurant area, both Praia dos Anjos (where the boat tours leave from) and Praia Grande, and about 15 mins uphill walk from the viewpoint to watch sunset.||The staff speak very little English but are polite and friendly, meaning checking in wasn't a problem. Our room, whilst not luxurious was impeccably clean. We had a small balcony overlooking the street. Shower was great with excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. One point to note was that the air con was quite noisy, but it's a trade off of that, or not sleeping because of the heat! ||Breakfast is excellent compared to most we have had whilst travelling Brazil, with fresh bread, a huge selection of fruit, cereals, eggs etc etc. ||A boat trip whilst in Arraial is a great way to see the gorgeous beaches in the area and I would recommend the company we used - Don Juan - booking staff spoke good English (others we enquired of didn't, which made us more cautious of booking with them) and the group was small compared to other boats, with...

My Family and I had spent almost one week there and everything was perfect. The accomodations are very clean and cozy. The shower is amazing. It counts with different kinds of rooms, we chose one on the ground since my grandma was with us, which shows a great acessibility. One of the best choices around there.||||Genesis offers an amazing Breakfast if you compare to the others places, the staff and room service are great and always willing to help you in everything you need. Genenis still offers a really nice pool that you can relax after the beach.||||The place is very familiar, quite and safe. You can easily walking to some restaurants and almost in front of the Pousada you can try a really good "Açaí"||||The Pousada is very well located between Praia dos Anjos (Where you have to catch the boat for tours and the trail for Praia do Forno) and pretty near from Praia Grande (One of the most beautiful beaches) you can...

Li as reclamações e avaliações e digo: o café da manhã possui bastante variedade, o banheiro é ótimo, o atendimento dos funcionários é maravilhoso e a piscina estava bem limpinha. Passei por duas experiências bem ruins na pousada, que me fizerem vir aqui e avaliar (coisa que nunca faço). No primeiro dia paguei uma diferença de 120 e deixei bem claro que estava pagando mais caro e trocando de quarto para utilizar a banheira... A banheira só funcionou na água gelada. A pousada não fez a restituição do valor, nada! A cama da pousada é EXTREMAMENTE dura, parece que eu estava dormindo em uma pedra. Não recomendo mesmo! É as suas férias... procurem um lugar mais aconchegante e de um conforto maior. Cobram um preço bem elevado, mas não entregam o serviço no mesmo nível. Não culpo os funcionários, eles arranjaram 8 travesseiros para eu dormir de forma melhor (fiz uma cama de travesseiros e dormi em cima) e foram sempre muito educados fazendo o possível para melhorar minha estadia, culpo o proprietário que não investe no seu negócio e entrega qualquer coisa....
