Beautifully designed, sustainably built with love and attention to details Pausada. My friend and I visited Caraiva and fell in love with this charming little place. Deborah and Simon shared their beautiful Pausada with us. |The place is charming, with small very comfortable rooms. |Deborah helped organize our trip with such care, her every suggestion was precious and helped us enjoy Caraivo even more! She also shared a very special story about how this Pausada came to life which explained why staying here is not only comfortable and enjoyable but also magical.|Sleeping: The room had excellent high quality bedding, comfortable showers, and shelving. We stayed in a room w/o AC, but fresh air from the ocean and intelligent design of our room, kept us super cool and comfortable. Great attention to detail. The moment you enter the pousada, you are surrounded by wonderful details that show care and dedication in the way they have been collected over the years. The pousada is quiet and the room is very fresh and ventilated. The location is perfect as it's near the beach as well as two streets from the river-front. O quarto é ótimo! O chuveiro tem uma parte a céu aberto. Num primeiro momento pensamos que pudesse abrir margem para entrada de bichos, mas não! E foi ótimo tomar banho olhando o céu O quarto poderia ter um lixinho (só tem no banheiro) e um espelho de corpo. Tem lá fora, mas fica chato se tiver algum homem por exemplo hospedado. São coisas simples e baratas para melhoria. A Ruth é um amor! Uma excelente anfitriã. Nossa lâmpada do banheiro queimou, falamos que, caso fosse possível providenciar outra, se não, tudo bem. Ao chegarmos à noite, a lâmpada já estava trocada. O café é um momento lindo. No primeiro dia fiquei receosa de não dar conta de tudo e deixar sobrar, mas foi tranquilo. Que iogurte é aquele! Meu deus! Que delicia! O chá da tarde, um carinho à parte. Mas Confesso que fiquei aguada no bolinho de goiabada e queijo que tinha visto no instagram. Tivemos q sair às 4h30 da manhã e à noite a Ruth nos deixou um pacote c um lanchinho. Que carinho! Quanto à localização é boa. Uns 10 minutos do barquinho. Mas nos sentimos bem e seguras. A delciadeza do escalda pés tb afagou o coração. Super recomendo. O único incômodo era aparentemente um vizinho que chingava e brigava muito alto e de madrugada. Acordamos alguns dias com os gritos dele. Não sei se isso é recorrente...
