The property is AMAZING! The manager, Kris, is not only a beautiful and energetic, she went above and beyond to make sure we had EVERYTHING we needed!!||||This place comes with a wonderful breakfast where fruits and vegetables came from their own garden and bread was homemade! ||||After a long day of hiking the waterfalls, the hot tub was a wonderful way to end the day. Bruno, who speaks excellent English, helped with arranging massages. This hotel even has a massage room where they will come directly to you. Unless your body needs some serious fixing, I highly recommend Silvana for massages. She is close up the mountain.||||Depending on your party, I loved the rooms outside near the fire pit and jacuzzi best. Sadly, I didn't get to enjoy the nights when the restaurant was open for dinner but I'm sure I missed out. The wifi is awesome and you get access to the television/living room inside the main building where it's best. This area was a great public place to gather with my friends when we wanted to play games, get food delivered to eat at the table together, and hook up our HDMI cable from computer to the huge television and catch up on our shows. ||||We had every intention of trying out different properties for the 2 weeks while visiting Alto Paraiso but nothing compared to Casa De Lua and we happily stayed there the remainder of our trip. This poussada is excellent if you are comfortable with pentangles , magic charms and the like . In fact if you are not this is probably not a good town to visit - every kind of belief system is represented here including possible UFO landings . The poussada is new , well decorated , with friendly owners plenty of space inside and outside . The rooms are nice as is the garden ( unless candlelit pumpkins and the like are not to your taste ) There is a small shop selling a mixture of souvenirs , kitsch , clothes and magic . Various therapies are available on site. Breakfast was good , shower was good , bed was comfortable . The owners don't speak a great deal of English and there are quite a few children always around the place but all in all it is a good place to stay a little distance (maybe 0.5 mile ) from the...

Casa da Lua is an oasis of peace and tranquility surrounded by beautiful settings and the most amazing and stylish furnishings. ||Their amenities are so welcoming, you feel like never leaving, staff is so friendly, you feel at home all the time. Toaletries from L'Occitane au Bresil are just one of the many fine touches you will find when you stay here.||Their spa, pool and gardens are lovely as well.
