Morada Prainha — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Florianópolis

This hotel is in a beautiful setting with views extending out to the ocean. The beach is a short 7 minute walk and the main village is a 15 minute walk. So generally a well located property, however it does help to have a car here as there is a lot of up & down hill and also handy to be able to explore some of the other areas nearby, like Praia do Rosa.||The hotel has a very chilled vibe with a relaxing reception/dining area which came in very handy for those tropical rainy days. There is also a great entertainment house which has a very tropical feel which is another nice space to spend time in.||The rooms are nice and clean but a little basic, however with an amazing shower and a large terrace, which proved perfect for a spot of morning yoga!||The staff in this hotel are so lovely and Octavio goes that extra mile, spoiling us with freshly caught fish & seafood on a regular basis!! You feel like you're all part of a big family in this hotel!||The only thing I would say is that none of the staff really spoke English, probably not necessary as I think it's generally Brazilians that travel to Garopaba and luckily we were with family friends that were Brazilian/English, however sometimes it was a challenge for us despite some of the staff really trying their hardest. This hotel is a few years old but looks like it was just finished a week ago. Its maintenance is impecable - not an easy thing to do at beach/seaside hotels in Brazil. The shacks can house up to 4 people, and there's also the studio rooms, a great option if you're alone or in a couple. All rooms have a little basic but well-equipped kitchen, in case you're too lazy to go out everyday (traveling to this region is hardly made without a car). Its installations are of great quality (bed and sheets are very comfy, shower is great) and very good taste (furniture is nice and the artworks on the walls are simple and beautiful). Breakfast is included and makes you want to sit there and eat more (especially the freshly baked cakes), with the view of the Praia da Silveira, at a walking distance of some 10 minutes. The gourmeteria downstairs is also great for larger cooking adventures for big groups...

Nossos dias na Morada Prainha foram inesquecíveis. O lugar é lindo, super tranquilo, imerso no verde e com uma vista maravilhosa para a Praia do Silveira (uma praia lindíssima, ótima para quem quer descansar e aproveitar a natureza com calma e privacidade). Nossa cabana era confortabilíssima, aconchegante, bem equipada, com ótimas roupas de cama, chuveiro quentinho e tinha uma vista perfeita para o mar (do quarto, do banheiro, da varanda...de todos os lugares era possível olhar para ele hahaha). Tivemos a sorte de, em um dos dias, vermos do nosso próprio quarto uma baleia franca nadando por ali. Um momento que nunca vamos nos esquecer!! O serviço de limpeza é excelente. Todos os dias tudo estava super limpo, organizado e cheiroso. O café da manhã é servido em uma área que fica de frente para a piscina e para a praia. Há diversidade de pães, frios, frutas, bebidas e outros acompanhamentos. Tudo o que comemos estava delicioso (com destaque para os dadinhos de tapioca e para os bolos sempre fresquinhos - feitos ali mesmo). Há academia, serviço de massagem e contato total com a natureza (o verde, o mar, o céu)...o que para nós foi bastante especial. Poder escutar o barulho das ondas, dos pássaros e ver o dia começando e terminando no mar nos trouxe muita paz! O atendimento de todos os funcionários da pousada é impecável. O cuidado, a atenção e o carinho que eles têm com os hóspedes e com o lugar é diferente de todos os hotéis que já frequentamos. A delicadeza da Giselle e de sua equipe com certeza é um grande diferencial desta hospedagem. É perceptível que amam o que fazem e que prezam muito pelo bem-estar, pelo conforto e pela alegria dos que visitam o local. Voltamos das nossas férias muito felizes e cheios de gratidão. Nos lembraremos desta viagem para sempre com muito carinho e saudade e já não vemos a hora de estar por lá...
