I stayed at this hotel last year and it was an ok experience but this year it was quite awful. The amount of time that it takes to check-in at the front desk is ridiculous. The rooms are so outdated and smell like mildew, the air conditioners don’t cool down the rooms no matter how low you set the temperature, it’s pretty much just a fan (quite noisy at that). Our room had a street view and shared balcony with 4 other rooms but the doors to the outside would not lock, maintenance came and figured out the door locks were broken or worn out and it couldn’t be fixed. Changed rooms but again the door to the balcony would not lock, maintenance comes in and fixed it… that was a good hour and a half wasted between figuring out doors and rooms. Changed rooms but it also smells terrible of mildew, the air conditioner only works as a fan. The shower only has cold water. This hotel has seen better days. I will never stay here again. Positives: the kids area and the...
Read moreThe Praiamar Hotel is located in a strategic area of Natal. Nearby, there are excellent restaurants, bars, drugstores, and a beautiful beach.||The hotel offers good infrastructure, but there are several aspects that should be improved, such as:||The rooms should be more comfortable. The shower could be more functional, and the bed more comfortable.||The food is the main problem at Praiamar Hotel. The quality should be greatly improved. Unfortunately, on some days, I would classify the meals as poor. The hotel administration should avoid repeating the same menu every day. During our stay at the hotel, the dinner menu was almost always the same.||Breakfast is acceptable, but it should include a wider variety of items. It is clear that the hotel urgently needs a nutritionist.||On the positive side, the staff are very polite and efficient. I truly appreciate...
Read moreDirty hotel!!!! We had a sticky spot on the floor that took three days of complaints to get them to clean. Of the four pools, two were filthy beyond belief. The pool by the beach had so much string algae in it that you could not see the bottom. The second floor pool had scum on the sides so thick that guests were playing tick tack toe on it. The two roof pools were dark colored so you could not tell if they were clean or dirty. Air Conditioning required attaching two bare wires together. We even found bedbugs (dead thankfully) behind the bed when checking out. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. They done't even realize how bad they are. Stay away...
