Pousada Kite Wind — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Parnaíba

If you're looking for a clean, functional, well-located pousada, this is it. It's located in the heart of the town, so shops, bars and restaurants are right outside your door. You won't have beach views, but it's so close that you can almost hear the waves! ||||This pousada is refreshingly simple - the garden consists of sand and palm trees, there's privacy and tranquility, there are a couple of shared spaces with hammocks and lounges where guests can mingle and relax outside of their rooms.||||Rooms have air-conditioning and televisions, are secure and clean - a little dark, but at least that keeps the rooms cool from the hot sun. Wifi was reliable and fast.||||Breakfast was served outdoors and was tasty and plentiful - strong coffee, fresh fruit, cakes ham and cheese... A nice atmosphere, most of the guests here were keen kite surfers, there was a ver international feel, many languages being spoken over breakfast.||||There's also a resident pet bunny rabbit which is super cute and happy to be touched and played with.||||If you're looking for a pousada full of decorate, hand crafted details and high levels of personal service then look elsewhere. But if you are after simplicity, a good standard of cleanliness and comfort, efficiency and a central location, then...

The service offered at Pousada Vento do Kite was great! The location of it is fabulous- heart of the village, easy acess to everything without being noisy inside the rooms! The common area/garden of this pousada is beautiful and pleasant! The rooms are big and spacious however is missing some important itens such as: hair dryer, towels hooks, lamps and lights (bedrooms are dark) soap dishes, hangers, closet. That's the reason I didn't give it 5 stars!||The complimentary breakfast is good, tasteful and the serving ladies are friendly and willing to cook whatever else that you want on the menu. ||Marconio, the recepcionist, and the gardening/ mantainance guy are always available and happy to help with anything that doesn't work well!||Just to improve even more the service I'd say that the cleaning of the bathroom was ok but coud be better! Some days the towels weren't changed, one day I had to ask for towels because were none in the room. I suggest a daily checklist to go along with the cleaners to make sure they have everything done. Maybe they should offer beach towels also which they don't have.||Overall I loved our week at Barra Grande and staying in Pousada Vento do Kite!||It's a safe place to stay...

We stayed at Pousada vento do Kite for 10 days, during which we were kitesurfing everyday all day and chilling every night, so we were exhausted after a long day, this pousada is at the end of the main strip so its a lot more quiet and peaceful, only 1 minute walk to the beach without the beach front prices. Our room was a great size with on-suite. The breakfast was included, served really early which was so good for us because we had to be at the beach early...serving every juice possible including freshly cut coconut fruit and coconut water from their own palm trees :) It had free wifi and sky tv in the main eating area, which was full of hammocks and chill areas, our room had a hammock right outside. It's not beachfront but we were so sick of the beach by the time we got home that it was nice to have a break ||Price was half the price of most of the pousadas and the owner/workers were lovely, they also own the brand new pizzeria next door which is proper italian pizzas served in 5 minutes of you sitting...
