Pousada Verde Água Visconde de Mauá — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Resende

Stayed here 3 nights mid-week in May 2018. It was a really wonderful getaway, located only a few minutes drive from the main street of Visconde de Maua, but outside the town. Nana, our host, was wonderful. She was always looking for ways to make our stay easy and comfortable. The suite was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The open floor plan was very comfortable, with wood grain floors and ceiling, a hot tub, fireplace, generous shower, toilet and bathroom and wide screen TV. The bed was big and super comfy, and well placed in the room too for watching TV and enjoying the fireplace. Aside from the hot-tub/spa, the highlight was the great views across the valley to the mountains, with the verandah being at the canopy hight of trees and high enough to enjoy views of the river below. Breakfast was served to our room each morning and we could eat out on the porch in morning sun. Wild birds of different varieties could be seen, and even the odd toucan! Actually the mainroad passes less then 5 meters from the entrance door, in addition it’s uphill and the sounds from the trucks Doe’s not give you a minutes of rest.|We prepaid the weekend but de ided to leave after one night due to this.|There are 100’s of better choices in...
