Pousada Monte Azul — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Seabra

There seems to be an unofficial breakfast competition among Bahia pousadas. With the ready availability of numerous seasonal fruits, tropical juices, traditional cakes, tarts,jams, puddings, regional coconut, tapioca, yucca, and corn delicacies, cheeses, breads, and home baked specialties, Bahia is a good place for a traveler to wake up each morning. ||Every inn keeper emphasizes the breadth and quality of their morning meal and, in one month in Bahia, none disappointed.||It's a close call, but I'm nominating the Monte Azul as "best of show" owing to the attentive presentation and wider variety of quality choices than found elsewhere. Perhaps it was the local honey or home made yogurt that tipped the scale.||The overall appearance of the pousada with it's large rooms, spacious public areas, well-kept grounds, presentation of the breakfast and hospitality of numerous employees could be attributed to the German ancestry of the owner but he generously gives all the credit to his wife and staff. ||Located across the highway from the Byzantine Cemetery, you'll be glad you found...

Estivemos em setembro/2025, por 5 dias, em família com criança. A equipe que conduz o cotidiano da Pousada é excelente, fez a nossa estadia muito agradável.

🌼 As plantas e as flores dispostas em toda a Pousada deixam o ambiente bonito, aconchegante e convidativo, nos inspira alegria e curiosidade desde a entrada. Palmas para o jardineiro! Para nossa alegria, a Pousada comercializa mudas de plantas.

☕️ O café da manhã é excelente! Os bolos, os pães e vários outros itens são feitos na própria cozinha. A equipe prepara beiju fresquinho, sob demanda. Palmas pra equipe que prepara os sabores e nos acompanha no café!

🛏 Como estendemos nossa estadia de última hora, tivemos a oportunidade de conhcer dois quartos: família e deluxe. Os dois são ótimos, têm um bom espaço e organização para acomodar as 6 e 4 pessoas conforme planejado. A limpeza dos quartos é impecável. Colchões, travesseiros e cobertores limpos e confortáveis.
