Pousada Santa Vila - Serra do Cipó — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Sete Lagoas

I was there for 2 days and nights. I have to say at the beginning that I am frequently in Brasil and also often far away from cities. So I know a lot of pousadas, also simple ones.||||The environment at Santa Vila is nice, the chalets have nice interior, bed is good, even a kitchen, a well maintained pool.||Breakfast is good with a nice view.||||BUT: It depends where your chalet is. I had the first one close to the street. Street was not a big problem, but 5m away from this chalet there is a henhouse with some cocks/roosters. In the first night, it started at 2:20 AM to crow. From then on, basically no sleep anymore because the windows are no soundproof. Forget it.||||I complained in the morning and asked for a change of chalet. This was refused (although I believe it was not fully booked). But the owner promised to talk to the neighbor with the henhouse. If he did, it did not help. The next night the same thing, it started at 01:50 AM. Again no sleep from this moment on even with earplugs.||||I cannot imagine that other guest who stayed in this chalet, did not complain. I may be sensitive on sound, but even in Brasilian terms this was too noisy. It was really painful to stay there in the night.||||Besides, there are construction works very close, but this starts at 07:00 am which is not the big problem.||||In the morning I wanted a refund of one night which was refused by the owners.||||I then complained at booking.com but they also got a negative reply.||||300€ for 2 nights with almost no sleep is simply too much! We've been two amazing days in a chalet at Santa Vila. It's a simple but a nice place, where we can forget about noise and agitation of the great cities. Outside the chalet there's a wood terrace with deck chairs, and we can see several kinds of birds... toucans, woodpeckers, doves and many others that I just don't know the name. We stayed among the trees feeding the little monkeys, and hearing the sound of the cicadas. At night we stayed looking to the sky searching for the most shiny star and feeling the breath of fresh air.||Serra do Cipo is not a place to have luxury accommodations. It´s like a sanctuary of native forest with amazing waterfalls, so, rustic inns perfectly match the proposed preservation of the site.||There's a TV inside the bedroom, but we had no interest in turn it on. PONTOS POSITIVOS: linda Pousada, com boa limpeza e bonita jardinagem; quartos muito aconchegantes; vista maravilhosa da "Suíte Pôr do Sol"; café da manhã caprichado; ótima sensação de contato com natureza, existindo um pequeno riacho ao fundo da pousada; a camareira, o jardineiro e o gerente foram muito educados conosco nos rápidos momentos.

PONTOS NEGATIVOS: péssimo atendimento da senhora que fica na recepção, tendo ocorrido muita ironia, falta de respeito e cordialidade em vários momentos! Em um deles, perguntei a ela que horas costumava se pôr o sol na região para desfrutarmos da visão da "SUÍTE PÔR DO SOL" e ela simplesmente disse que NÃO SABIA, não nos dando qualquer retorno! Em outro momento, solicitei conhecermos rapidamente os demais quartos da Pousada e ela grosseiramente disse que naquele dia NÃO HAVIA DISPONIBILIDADE para isso, sendo que o pedido foi feito por volta de 11:00 e só chegariam novos hóspedes a partir de 14:00! Após minha insistência, o gerente, de forma atenciosa, nos apresentou rapidamente alguns quartos sem QUALQUER PREJUÍZO para a Pousada. Ressalto que também fomos surpreendidos por uma OBRA debaixo da nossa suíte ("Pôr do Sol"), sendo obrigados a acordar e tomar café da manhã ao som de MARRETADAS E FURADEIRA ao fundo. Além disso, os pedreiros estavam trabalhando próximo da nossa varanda, estragando a proposta de SOSSÊGO E PRIVACIDADE da Pousada. Para finalizar, tentamos dar um feedback na recepção e ainda tivemos que ouvir da DONA DA POUSADA que as nossas duas remarcações de reservas INTERFERIRAM NA PROGRAMAÇÃO DA OBRA, sendo que havia mais hóspedes na Pousada e a disponibilidade da data que escolhemos foi garantida anteriormente pela PRÓPRIA RECEPCIONISTA que nos atendeu. PASMEM!

RESUMO: O TRATAMENTO e o ATENDIMENTO a nós dispensados mancharam a experiência fantástica que a Pousada pode proporcionar! Ficamos com a sensação de estarem fazendo FAVORES para gente, faltando mais INTELIGÊNCIA EMOCIONAL e PROFISSIONALISMO para tratarem o hóspede. Quanto a obra, sugiro que verifiquem antes se estará ocorrendo no período de sua hospedagem, pois, "naturalmente", NÃO nos foi informada no momento da reserva pela supracitada...
