TERRIBLE infrastructure. Very old hotel, old elevators and dirty and greasy elevator doors. Keycard systems also very dated and multiple times the door wouldn’t open or would be stuck. Bathroom doesn’t have any amenities, hand soap is far away from the sink, no bar soap, no body lotion, no cotton balls or Q-tips. Towels and pillows very bad quality, old and stiff mattress, air conditioning system is very loud and old as well.||Also I arrived in the middle of the night and no one helped with my bags, and I had 3 suitcases. Staff is very unfriendly, and I didnt have any difficulties with language since i am brazilian. I had been traveling for 4 days coming from Asia and I was extremelly exausted and really wanted to relax and get some rest at a nice hotel.. but I eneded up being frustrated all the time.||Theres very LOUD music all the time. 8AM for breakfast LOUD MUSIC. 3PM at the pool to relax.. LOUD MUSIC AGAIN. Maybe there was some kind of concert in the building, or maybe they are a beach bar or something, I could hear very loud music from my room late at night at 11pm. If you want to have a venue at the hotel for concerts you should at least have a very good infrastructure for soundproofing.||Breakfast is just okay. A lot of cakes were store bought. Juices were terrible and not a lot of options. Very cheap options for yogurt and butter, they could definetly improve their selection. ||Overall felt like I was paying for a very cheap hotel, one of those you find on a highway in the middle of nowhere. They’re pretty obnoxious and don’t care about their clients comfort because they are calling themselves four stars and asking for pretty high rates but don’t really work on improving anything. You’re better off staying at more cozy and simple hotel than there if you want some basic comfort and a good nights sleep.||The photos are very decieving, I paid 1900 R$ for an executive suite for three nights, or equivilent to 360 USD - understand this: that is more than a months wage in Brazil, so even though it is not a lot in dollars, in brazils currency it defitely qualifies as mid-high end, so they should be and provide better quality of towels and sheets and pillows and food, and clean the hallways and elevators etc. I pesonally think other budget friendly options might have been more...
Read moreBuilding Looks good. Interior beautiful. Nice rooms. Very small bathrooms. Staff are friendly. ||Not a good experience with: ||1-It is a big hotel, very busy and crowded during breakfast, food is topped up late at breakfast buffet when it is finished. Fruits are still frozen when is served at the breakfast. ||2-Very bad english is spoken by staff. Often caused confusion in communication. ||3- Restaurant food for lunch and dinner scores very badly. Food not tasty. ||4-Internet very slow. ||5- There is a swimming pool with sauna and fitness center. Swimming pool water often not heated, due to the location of the building, the swimming pool only gets a few hours of sunshine a day. Other buildings block the sun. Where it is very windy and cold to swim while it is 26 degrees outside. Occasionally the water was heated. ||6- Pool bar was always closed (maybe because of the season (July).||7- Sauna is switched on request, usually it is switched off.||8- No outside place for sitting...
Read moreThe location of the hotel is very convenient. The hotel has amlarge dining area on entry and serves a well organised buffet breakfast each morning. The rooms have very good airconditioning and a sjower that certainly has the power to clean . The mini bar is also maintained well with a varied choice. The only disappointment is the very small gym which the aircon achieves next to nothing and a swimming pool which does not do justice to the rest of the hotel. I never managed to get to the sky lounge to my disappointment though i did try several times in the lift to reach this floor. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. Also plenty of uber taxi close by to go to and from the airport for around 17 reais. If the gym and pool were of a higher standard i would increase my review score. But 4...
