If you are travelling around Brazil, on vacation or even just fancy a couple of days away from the bustling neighbour Recife. You need to stay here! ||||It is quite simply the best experience of a Bed and Breakfast I’ve ever had. From Sebastian and Yolanda’s warm greeting on arrival, accompanied by a glass of home made lemonade, to their organisation of private transport to our next destination. Sebastian’s laid back, professional style and Yolanda’s warm and caring attitude is very refreshing. ||||Breakfast - Home baked corn/coconut cake, traditional tapioca, fruit, cassava couscous, plantain, sweet potato, eggs, fresh fruit juice, delicious coffee and prettt much anything you ask for! It was the best breakfast we have had in Brazil and is clearly made fresh, with care and attention.||||The Room - Beautiful decor, very comfy bed, fridge with water, beer etc. TV, hammock, large space, huge windows with sea view and old town charm. The room was spotless and a tranquil haven to relax and escape to. ||||The Hosts - Sebastian, Yolanda, their daughter and Luni (the dog). I believe you should only give 5 stars on trip advisor if the place you are staying goes beyond all expectations and the staff go above and beyond their call of duty. This is exactly what happened. Sebastian gave us great restaurant recommendations and we visited 2 (Tribunas and Patua-both fanstastic food) Yolanda was able to give us local insight into activities in Olinda and was also very helpful. Everyone was kind and forthcoming and they have a perfect balance of relaxed and informal B and B style with good professional service. ||||All in all 5/5, 10/10, 100%, full marks, perfection. If you’re going to Olinda book in advance and stay at...
Read moreAfter an exhausting and exhilarating week of diving in Fernando de Noronha, my aunt, cousin, and I stayed at Yolanda and Sebastian's bed and breakfast for 3 nights. We had a phenomenal experience. Cama e Cafe offers a relaxing, unique, and organized environment for travelers. ||||In addition to having comfortable and spacious rooms that overlook Olinda and the Atlantic Ocean, Yolanda and Sebastian are warm, engaged, and charismatic hosts who deeply care about their guests’ experience. This wonderful family made us feel so welcomed, which is huge when traveling in a country where you don’t speak the language. They provided organized airport pickup and drop off, robust breakfasts on their patio with a beautiful vista, and interesting conversations. My Aunt who was eager to explore Olinda and Recife had continuous questions for Sebastian and Yulunga, and they gave us suggestions and guidance on how to use our limited time wisely. We feel so lucky to have crossed paths with such an interesting and fun family. Once we got to the airport, I realized I had forgotten my glasses. I called Sebastian, and without hesitation he had a plan. Thanks for such an enriching...
Read moreI spent one night here by special arrangement on my way from Fernando de Noronha to Sao Paulo and then London. Sebastian kindly collected me from the airport and then also gave me a short tour of the local area, which was great. He is very chatty and friendly, which is welcome when arriving in a new place. Olinda is an interesting blend of Portugal, Brazil and the tropics. I was fortunate enough to see a couple of groups practising for Carnival. ||||The accommodation is clean, bright and comfortable. I had a good night's sleep in comfort. Unfortunately I couldn't stay long for breakfast but really enjoyed tropical fruits, pao de queijo, cheese, breads, eggs and tea (so a lot!) while overlooking the town from their terrace.||||This is a really nice place to stay on...
