The room was nice but it was facing a viaduct, so it was noisy. When I booked the room, I asked to be put on the even side, because I read on the reviews it was quieter, but I ended up on the odd side anyway. The hotel has wifi but it kept getting down, which was annoying, so I used my cellphone mobile data instead of wifi.||The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday.||||The breakfast was good, with lot of options and served in a reasonable hour (from 6 am till 10 am). But one night I went down to the hotel restaurant to dine and I don't recommend: the food was pricey and not as tasty as it should be. I ordered some fish with chips and the chips were awful, they tasted like they were fried in old oil, absolutely terrible, so I returned them.||||The surroundings of the hotel are not the best. If it was located on the other side of the viaduct or next to Praça da Bandeira, it'd be much better. But there's a market nearby, a nice restaurant at Centro de Convenções Sul América and a place where you can buy bread just around the corner.||||If you're going to Centro de Convenções Sul América for an event, this place is...
Read moreNot much to write about this hotel because during our trip (me and my wife) we were here twice and sent only one night each for "transfer" purposes.||The hotel is basic with polite and helpful staff and quite good restaurant (breakfasts and dinners were really good).||Equipped with air-condition, flat tv, wifi, clean bathroom with towels, cosmetics and hairdryer.||||We recommend the hotel for the transfer purposes - it is very close to the bus station from which you can easily go for example to Parati as we did and using hotel taxi service you can reach bus station easily and its affordable. ||The location of it is not the best for touristic purposes but still if you are there, there is a straight way to the Estacio metro station (located in the park).||||Be AWARE about the ATM located in the Shell petrol station next to the park I mentioned below - in this one probably my debit card was skimmed. ||But this absolutely do not concern the hotel and my...
Read moreWell, I really enjoyed the bedroom of the hotel. Looking at the front of the hotel, it really felt like a good option to sleep. And by the bedroom, it really was. The bathroom is big. I mean, the box is REALLY big. The sink is simple as it needs to be. There’s no place to put your amenities. There’s tv cable too. The staff was very friendly and very supportive when I ask for directions.
Now, why four stars: It was a descent place to rest, and by the price R$148.-/day (US$42.-) I would expect a better breakfast. Saloon was ok, but just a few options overall. There’s neither egg or sausage. I found two options of juice, two options of bread, some sliced fruits, coffee, milk and some cake options. Not bad at all, but it would have more options. I noticed English might be a barrier, because ONE of them (Staff) did not know what my phone was showing in google, as it was in written in English. I speak PTBR though.
I definitely would get back if...
