Upon check in my room door would NOT close. They then proceeded to fix it and told me there was a loose screw and that someone must have closed the door incorrectly. They then proceeded to tell me that there was an extra charge if I wanted it (after they offered it to me). I told them no and that I was ready to upgrade when I originally checked in and was told there were no options available for the bungalo and that now I would NOT pay an upgrade fee because of their lack of maintenance on the room they booked me in. The first was a lovely twin room which had everything that you need. The second room was a lovely bungalow right on the sea front with a lovely mezzanine level to sleep on. ||Being a Pousada, it's more like a B&B than a hotel so there isn't a lot of facilities on site. Breakfast every morning was lovely, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, bread, sausage, eggs...
