I used this recently built hotel as my base during a 2 week visit to Brazil, staying there on my arrival and departure nights, plus some nights in between, when I was in transit. Overall my impression was favourable, with a few minor issues to report. First the plusses. The rooms were clean and functional, the breakfast was excellent, if standard for Brazil, and the hotel restaurant served a nice dinner buffet including vegetarian options, all for 60 BRL, that was much appreciated on latish arrival. A full room service menu was available in addition, 24/7. There is a nearby train station for transfer to the city centre. The staff at reception were very helpful and all information provided was correct. There was an outdoor seating area for the bar and restaurant, though not officially in use during the winter season. Now the negatives, none of which is ‘damning’. The hotel is situated in an industrial zone adjacent to the airport. As a result, there is nothing to see or do in the neighbourhood, not even a restaurant apart from the one actually in the hotel. Being in an airport location there is airplane noise, depending on the time of day and the runway(s) actually in use. On one of my stays, the room was decidedly cold and the ‘heater’ seemed only to blow cold air around, regardless of how it was set. A small issue is that the shuttle to the hotel only operates hourly and only to terminal 2 – the main international terminal 3 is not served. Information on this in English language was not provided, and my attempts to contact the hotel for advice upon arrival failed. In fact Terminal 2 is just 7-10 minutes walk from Terminal 3 using the interconnecting passageways, but it would be helpful to provide the information to arriving customers...

I missed my international flight and after some research decided to try this one. At around USD$76 including breakfast it was a good deal.
There is an airport shuttle that only goes to Terminal 2.
Check-in was smooth. 24 hour room service was a plus as I arrived about midnight. I paid an extra $36 US to extend my stay to 6pm.
Breakfast buffet had lots of options if not quite as nice as some other hotels I have stayed at. My room service dinner was only around $10 and was enough food for two. The restaurant is a separate entity from the hotel so be prepared to pay on delivery. They cannot charge the room.
Room had cold a/c with remote control. Smart TV in the room you can cast your phone to.
Room was not that big but king size bed was comfortable. Shower was roomy and hot with good water pressure. Bar soap and body wash included.
Mini bar included chips, nuts, candy, soda, water and beer.
As is typical with foreign hotels, you must put your room key in the slot for power in the room.
Unfortunately there were no outlets that would fit US plugs so an adapter was necessary. Many São Paulo hotels have American style outlets so this was a little inconvenient. Voltage is 220 as many São Paulo hotels are.
There was a sizeable lunch buffet as well for around $11. (Exchange rate was 5.2 when I stayed.)
One big disadvantage is that you have to walk outside uncovered to get to the restaurant. It was raining and the ground was collecting quite a bit of water.
There is a safe in the room and laundry service is available. Airport shuttle service runs on a schedule. Make sure to sign up ahead of time.

Read moreWhile my stay was very short this hotel did not disappoint for the purpose. Just taking advantage of our very long layover to get some rest, get cleaned up , get some proper food , and do some remote work on the computer.
The dinner buffet was quite good and with a good variety of well made dishes as well as an abundance of vegetables and fruits. At 60 reais for hotel guests it is a very good deal and moreover they open already at 6 p.m. with the buffet wish the Hampton Inn next door only opens at 7 p.m. (which would have been a minus for me). I love being able to just sit down and grab whatever food I want - you don't have to wait for dinner - and be done with it and ready to move on.
Notice that the shuttle only delivers / picks up at terminal 2 which is the domestic terminal. I believe the parking lot for the shuttles is only available in terminal 2 so they cannot really bring you to the international terminal at terminal 3. From terminal 2 to terminal 3 it is a good ten minutes walk internally in...
