I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel Guarulhos and, unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish.
Upon arrival, after a long night flight, I was faced with an empty check-in desk — even at the Platinum counter. When someone eventually arrived, I was told to go to the executive lounge to complete the check-in process. This took over 40 minutes, an exhausting and frustrating start given the circumstances.
I had specifically booked a day-use room to rest between two overnight flights. However, my attempt to rest was repeatedly interrupted. I received no fewer than five phone calls from reception, each time asking when I would be leaving the room or if I needed transport. On top of that, the cleaning staff twice attempted to enter the room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being on the door, and only stopped because I had secured the inside lock. Needless to say, rest was impossible.
I also booked a spa treatment, hoping to relax before my next flight. To my surprise, I was told that the spa had no showers. The staff suggested I walk outside the building to use the swimming pool showers instead — a completely unacceptable solution for a hotel of this category.
Finally, the problems continued at check-out. My spa treatment was not included on my invoice. I was later charged a second time once the staff realized the omission and processed the payment, creating further inconvenience.
In summary, my stay was a complete mess. From disorganized service at check-in, to repeated intrusions and lack of basic professionalism, to billing errors, the experience fell far below the standards expected of a Pullman property. Read moreI had a horrible experience in this hotel . I used the hair dryer to dry my hair . It malfunctioned and burned my brush and a part of my hair . I called the manager to explain her what happened . she took pictures and my burned comb and she said she would send me an email .a part of my hair burned was on the floor and in the sink . I couldn’t calm down ,I didn’t eat the whole day and my hair was burned in both sides . I decided to go to the mall and buy some treatment products to help ny hair to recover . I went again to the manager and told her that at least as kind gesture they should have pay the cost of the therapeutic products . She said that she had to talk with the main manager in the morning and that I should go back again in the morning . In the morning I met the manager Mr. Guilherme Conigiero He was looking at me as a cane from another planet . I explained to him again the situation,he seemed not to understand or not wanting to understand. He was talking to me about other cases-problems with clients without taking into consideration of my case . He told me that the hair . Dryer functions correctly,therefore there is nothing to talk about . I hadn’t slept for 24hours I hadn’t eaten properly and I was with burned hair . I will report this to my company and to my colleagues because it’s a matter of safety . If this hair dryer would also explode I could loose my life as well . Read moreThis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed! I have been travelling for years for both leisure and work and I have seen so many hotels. First, they have the worst customer service. I have been waiting for room service for more than an hour so I called to follow up. They said they’re on their way to my room and after a few mins they called me on my room to ask for my order again! My friend on the other hand experienced 3 hours of waiting! (How can they offer this type of service if they cannot provide it to us?) Second, they have the worst timing for alarm testing. I know that this is part of hotel’s security and I am really concerned with that as I am working in an airline. But the alarm testing was going on and off all day! We could’nt even rest the whole time as the alarm was just there and it was really loud because of course it was intended for emergency. I was so frustrated I couldn’t have proper rest and I was starving at the same time. Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this hotel as it’s a waste of money. Third, I asked them to clean my room twice and nobody came. I went outside to buy something from the mall and I put the tag outside my room so they would clean it. I came back after 3 hours and my room was still not clean! I thought they have timings for that, right. (I’m still justifying why they did not clean my room) But I also thought it was morning that I went outside between 10am -1pm so I guess it was just the perfect time to have hotel cleaners around.
