Helios Hotel — Hotel in Balchik

travel a lot for business and leisure and post reviews very rarely, only when a hotel stay really touches my heart.

I have visited Balchik for the first time and it was a very good decision. I enjoyed the quality of the room , nice and rich breakfast, friendly staff from the reception(Melania, who made us feel very welcome when we arrived at hotel) and truly central location – an easy walk all around the beautiful center

of Balchik. We received very helpful advices from the Manager Soslan Kokaev, and made us feel very special during our stay. The welcome at reception and the nice modern room that we had it was wonderful. We enjoyed a very good breakfast every day and Victor and Alex, from the restaurant,

were very attentive with all the guests from the hotel. They were smiling, always there to help and very attentive despite a very busy restaurant. We received help from reception all along, including for a memorable visit of Balchik. At check-out were very helpful and friendly despite we had a problem

with our credit card. We also enjoyed a very good massage for a good price at the spa center, booked directly at the reception by the manager of the hotel. We did not want to leave! We will look forward to visit again soon this wonderful hotel.All safety measures have been very well applied by the staff!

Helios Hotel offers a truly enjoyable stay with several standout qualities. The service is exceptional—staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my visit. The location is also excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. Additionally, the hotel provides a good range of food options, with several on-site restaurants that deliver both quality and variety.

That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The pool was noticeably cold, which made swimming less comfortable than expected. The breakfast selection felt limited and could benefit from more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days. Lastly, the Wi-Fi connection was weak and unreliable in several parts of the hotel, which might be frustrating for those needing to stay connected.

Have stayed at this hotel before, stayed there now again. A lovely place I want to return to. |Not a huge hotel, but very cozy. And with a very nice staff. Just a few meters to the beach, and a nice swimming pool right next to the hotel restaurant. (Margos House). It is only 5 minutes walk to the port of Balchik. A place with many restaurants. And short distance to the botanical garden. Would definitely recommend this hotel. One thing is for sure... I'm going back...
