The staff tried to scam us out of a pre paid appartment room. After calling the travel agency we got our rooms: Out of 3 appartments, one had a working stove, one had a deffective boiler, and the other 2 had no TVs. Cracks and spots on the walls. For an extra 70 leva/person for New Year's you get a small salad, a small steak, a slice of cake a cheap champagne and a cheap wine. Not even a bottle of water(for 120 leva you can get a big dinner for 5 in the town). The breakfast for new year was up untill 10AM, and most people were asleep. We were told that the manager is asleep and that we'll be served sandwiches. What a joke. The spa is small and garbage, one sauna cabin is not even working, and the pool is at best...

This visit was a summer holiday, twenty minute walk to town centre will reveal a busy centre with plenty of shops and restaurants to suit everyone. The gondola is running in summer I recommend a trip to enjoy the stunning scenery and a surprise for families at the top as they will be entertained by a huge water slide,swing and climb,and tubing which even has a jump. When you have finished return your pass and receive five leva deposit returned to you. Why wait to be collected a three minute walk will take you back to explore Bansko.com ski rental shop and the guys ther will take you back to your hotel, of course you can always walk back if you stay at evergreen as it is convenient to shops, restaurants, bank and gondola station. Stayed this week ski conditions perfect and should last a few more weeks weather...
