Hotel Zenith is definitely one of the better hotels we’ve stayed at, offering excellent value for money when it comes to both service quality and location. The hotel is situated at the very end of Sunny Beach, which turned out to be a huge advantage. It’s just a few minutes’ walk along the promenade to the lively center (or you can take the fun SBT – Sunny Beach Train), yet the location ensures peace and quiet away from the busiest crowds.||Rooms|The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are comfortable, modern, and kept very clean throughout the stay. Bed lighting creates a lovely atmosphere, and Wi-Fi is available both individually for each room and throughout the property. A Smart TV with internet access is a nice touch, allowing you to watch Netflix, YouTube, and more.||Bathrooms are equipped with a separate shower and toilet. The layout (with an open-plan style and glass partition) makes the rooms more suitable for couples than friends. We had a room with a sea view overlooking the entire Sunny Beach – definitely worth choosing when booking.||Storage space is generous with a large wardrobe, shelves, and a safe. A small fridge, kettle, cups, and a complimentary large bottle of water were provided. However, coffee/tea supplies weren’t replenished during our stay. This wasn’t an issue, as coffee machines and drinks were available all day until late in the evening.||We had one small maintenance issue (a loose toilet seat), but it was fixed within minutes by a friendly staff member.||Dining & Bars|Even though we visited at the end of the season, the food selection was still plentiful and varied. We always found something tasty to enjoy at each meal. On arrival (very late in the evening), we were kindly directed to the Snack Bar so we could have something to eat and drink, which was a thoughtful gesture.||There was always enough seating, and queues for food were very short. The restaurant offers coffee machines, beer on tap, three types of wine, and a selection of soft drinks. The only downside is that water isn’t available in bottles to take away, and filling your own bottles isn’t allowed. Drinks are served in disposable plastic cups (except in the lobby bar, where reusable cups are provided).||The restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured everything stayed clean. Background music added to the pleasant dining atmosphere.||Overall|Zenith is a modern hotel that provides a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.||Pros:|Recently renovated rooms with modern design|Great location: peaceful yet close to the center (about 1 hour transfer from the airport)|Wristbands that double as room keys – very convenient|Friendly and efficient staff|||Cons:|Drinks mainly served in disposable plastic cups|No shelf for toiletries in the shower|No dedicated hotel sunbeds on the beach||Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Hotel Zenith to anyone visiting...
Read moreI do not recommend this hotel in any way. The pictures you find on their page do not reflect reality in any way. I was shocked when I arrived and saw how pathetic it looked. The room was filthy in every way. The carpet was stained, the curtains held in a few clutches, the bedding was old and yellowed, and the safe was out of shape because it wasn't working. In the bathroom there was dirt on the floor, on the toilet seat, in the shower there was dirt and sand, the shower curtain was mouldy and very dirty, and the towels were old and shabby. We asked for a room with a double bed and got 2 single beds, which was also not respected. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired in other ways too, not just the room. Dishes and cutlery were very dirty and full of oil, the swimming pool, which does not look at all like in the pictures, is old and very small, water very dirty and full of sand. We stayed 6 days, but not one day we saw that pool cleaned. With small exceptions we could have a few meals at the hotel, the rest eating around because the food was badly cooked, oily and old. Potatoes were stale, meat uncooked, cheese spoiled, soups full of oil, all sorts of food concoctions that looked and tasted disgraceful. The food was not enough for the number of people staying and not enough meals, but the hotel staff was very disinterested in all these aspects. Parking is expensive, costing 20 bgn per day, not safe for cars and far away from the hotel, about 10 minutes from the hotel, in a field. The lifts work hard, are old and do not offer safety. I recommend to read carefully all the reviews about this hotel and consider the rating you find on Google. We took into account the rating on booking, which also does not reflect the reality, as it was 8.5 at the time we made the accommodation, now it is 6.5. My friend called the booking on the first day to say what the conditions are, but they claim that they do not know that the pictures do not reflect reality. We told the booking people that we want a refund of the money we paid, because the amount we paid is too high for what we are offered, they discussed with the hotel, but the hotel did not agree in any way. We also discussed with the hotel manager, who found as a solution to ask the kitchen what kind of food we want. But what's the use, if all the food was old and not cooked properly. We called the consumer protection in Bulgaria, but no action from...
Read moreUpon arrival greeted by a very nice man on reception and a young bell boy. Both very very nice people made me feel very welcome. Speedy check In. Was surprised to find a very nice generous plate of cold meats cheeses and some veg nicely laid out on a plate. WHAT A VERY NICE WARM WELCOME 5 STARS. Very newly decorated and looks very nice and fresh. Room very clean, in fact everywhere is very clean and fresh. I then went to the small quaint bar in reception this morning. Lady from reception came to serve me. We had a little chat. Very pleasant lady. Had very nice things to say and explained hotel owned by a Lady from Bulgaria living elsewhere. Again all very refreshing. I have been to so many opulent hotels and I would have to say this hotel has touched my heart. I can not recommend this hotel enough and that is because of the personal touches on the hotel and staff. I would come back and also recommend this hotel to anyone that likes the idea of feeling valued something money can not buy these days. I will enjoy my week here and am confident to post this review on day 1. Amazing staff make this hotel a WINNER. I am not in a seaview room as it showed none avail which will only be due to Jet2 holidays allocation of rooms but there are literally hundreds of sea view rooms avail and the views do look fab so if you can't see seaview avail just phone the hotel direct about an upgrade. Thank you for reading my review and please please consider supporting this hotel as you will be supporting Local people that...
