Hotel "Poseidon" — Hotel in Nesebar

Had a lovely family holiday here.|It is situated a the north end which is the quieter end of sunny Beach which suited us with having young children.|Apartments are quite spacious, basic but very usuable and had most things you would for self catering, fridge with small freezer compartment but doesn’t have a door on the freezer but so could confuse as to if there’s a freezer but but froze very well, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, a frying pan and medium size saucepan a 2 ring hob and crockery and cutlery.|Two single beds pushed together in main bedroom making a very large bed and sofa bed in living area which I had to say was a bit of a downside as only really suitable for children as it’s a frame you pull out but has a very thin mattress and dipped a bit in the middle so would be uncomfortable for an adult never mind 2 but as we had young children it was doable.|WiFi isn’t up to much, we paid for a week during our 2 week stay but could very rarely connect to it which disappointed the little ones as they like to fall asleep watching their tablets as there wasn’t much English tv for them on an evening to drift of to, reported WiFi situation to reception and they offered us another code for 24 hours so all in all the week we paid for plus the extra code for 24 hours we managed to access the internet for maybe 3 to 3 evenings.|Room on arrival was spotless but the the cleaning was a bit hit and miss the maid came in but it was just a quick flick around we didn’t overly mind but would be better if they had a sweeping brush and mop/ bucket so we could have done it ourselves as the feeling of grit under your feet isn’t a pleasant one. Overall the complex was clean but a bit more attention to detail like cleaning behind the doors in the toilets in the pool area could be better as the same dirt and empty plastic bottle was there for the full 2 weeks but again small details and not being over critical.|Pool area excellent as had a larger pool and children’s pool in close proximity which enable us to watch all of our 5 children of varying ages between the pools..|A little advise when walking around the pool areas though wear something on your feet when possible as it’s paved and not tiled and some of the mortar that has come loose between the slabs really hurts your feet.|I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 had it not been for those few issues but would u return yes I would but would be nice to see thee sofa beds changed to more sturdy ones and the other...

This is the first time staying in Poseidon Apartments and I thought it was a lovely place to stay and has a large swimming pool area if you want to chill and sun bath. And a bar beside the pool which does happy hour. However the cleaning services could be better. We were only given one towel between 4 people and one toilet roll which I believe isn't enough. We always had to ask for more, they only managed to clean our rooms twice after staying a week. The floor was covered in sand which we didn't have a brush to clean it ourselves. As there was 4 of us staying in one room, there is 2 single beds and one double bed sofa. The double bed sofa isn't the most comfortable place to sleep as the bed was broke in the middle. The place is nice to stay if you don't want to be near the strip. It is a good 20 mins walk to the strip but we got the bus in and taxi home as we didn't feel safe waking home at night. There a super market just down from the apartments however the staff at the tills were quite rude and not friendly. I would recommend Poseidon Apartments for families or for those who doesn't want to be near the strip as it is lively. However if you are a going out/party person I would recommend staying somewhere closer...

Stayed in the Poseidon with three other friends (when we booked we were advised one room would be suitable for four people) however the room was only suitable for three people. The room had one bedroom with two single beds and a living space with one tiny tiny double pull out sofa (one friend ended up sleeping on the sofa part on the floor as there was no room for two people on the measly pull out sofa bed).|Really disappointed by the lack of cleaning, boarder line unhygienic. We stayed for a week and on the second day cleaners came into the room as my friends and I were getting ready to leave, the cleaner asked if we wanted the room cleaned to which we replied yes. She came back with one towel and one toilet roll and left!! Another occasion a cleaner came in and saw us getting ready and left again! Upon our stay we had the room cleaned once!! We had to keep asking for extra towels and toilet roll!!!!!|The Poseidon is about a 20min walk into sunny beach or there is a bus that comes every 15mins. Due to the lack of cleaning, wouldn't be recommending...
