Hotel Severina — Hotel in Nesebar

we were holidaying with a group We arrived and the staff seemed confused, but we had lunch after a long wait to get the car parked and then got our rooms

The apartment was fantastic, bit sparse on utilities but as we were all inclusive it was adequate.

Really bad, the sheets were to small to fit the beds and you always woke up to find you were laying on the mattress

The food was mostly Bulgarian fare which we expected as we travelled with a Bulgarian group, but the menu was a bit sparse and we struggled to see things we liked so most days did not eat a lot.

On the last day there was a party which started at the same time as our dinner, we were still eating when the owner came and told us to move as they needed our table to go outside, we politely told him we were eating and to go away, he would not so I told him go away you are dismissed and pointed to an empty table they could take first. Another couple moved and vacated their table, which was not used for the party, and even our table that we vacated when we had finished eating was also not used.

But then it got nasty as the owner was abusive to my wife and she ended up in tears, then followed abuse from him and me as I was upset he had made my wife cry, I felt the owner was prepared to fight so moved away. I found the owner very rude, abusive and condescending to women, a horrible man.

I feel the owner did not care about us as we were not Bulgarian, he lied constantly about events that never happened and food choices that never appeared.

We were promised a karaoke evening telling us Wednesdays was karaoke. We changed our plans and karaoke never happened

we were promised chips, пържени картофи, and some horrible potato things were served, they explained these are not fried and better for you, sorry but I do not need a hotel worker telling me what is good or bad.

Bar closed at ten pm which was OK but the only toilet was in the bar so if you wanted to stay in the outside veranda you had to use your own room for toilet facilities.

This is a lovely building with a lot of potential sadly the owner...

This hotel was very good considering the price. Only problem was when we arrived at the reception at 11pm there was no one in the reception and the emergency number on the window we called. The lady that answered the phone didn't speak very good English and said we were at the wrong place and she didn't know where we needed to to be. We were actually at the correct place but we had to walk through the reception and out to the pool and around the pool to the restaurant and check in there. Tip for anyone arriving if the reception is closed! Once we were checked in and taken to our room there was only one set of towels and bedding I told the man that it was a room for two and he shrugged and walked away. I managed to find someone else and they brought us a sheet and towel. Apart from this blip at the beginning the stay was lovely. Incredibly comfy beds and pillows! Tanya the lady who ran the restaurant in the morning for breakfast and lunch was exceptional l, so polite and efficient. She was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the whole place very very clean. Fantastic location close to the beach and quite at night time. Just a short walk to the strip. Would stay again for such a cheap price! We arrived to hotel 2 groups of 15-25 people, the staff looked very confused with accomondation to our rooms, we waited 1 hour! |0/10|Rooms looked pretty clear, kitchen had only basic tools. Apartment was big enought to fit 6 people, with 1 additional bed (5+1). Air conditioninh was working well.|8,5/10|Food was different chapter, everyday looked same, small portions of meat, wich is understable for price. Quality was low, few members of group got trouble with stomach and also they got diarrhea. For drinking we had options of 5 - cola, orange, sprite, apple, cherry wich were just water with syrup. Coffe was below average, it didnt taste great.|4,5/10|Location was pretty good, 5 mins from beach. Lot of stores, restaurants. Evening was nothing extra, personally i dont like big masses of people. On streets were missing rubbish bins, everywhere near sidewalk were some trash, but they were cleaning it regularly every morning. Beach was from 10 am fulling with people till 4-5 pm, at peak 11-13 it didnt made sense to go here beacuse it was supersaturated. Old town of Nessebar were...
