Hotel Belleville — Hotel in Nesebar

Belleville is a little gem of a hotel and is run by the most wonderful lady (Sevi) who couldn't do enough for us and spoke perfect English!|The hotel is located just outside of the lively area of Sunny Beach but within easy walking distance/bus ride.|The rooms, although a little dated were fine for what we needed, a base for the night with a balcony, fridge, hairdryer and plenty of storage.|The pool/bar area was lovely and clean with plenty of sun loungers and tables/chairs with both sunny and shaded areas.|Breakfast was a basic selection of continental and hot items. Dinner was a combination of both traditional Bulgarian dishes and more "English" dishes throughout our stay. We were there for 5 nights and it suited us fine. |There was music on around the pool and some nights offered bingo/karaoke.||There is a bus stop right outside the hotel with regular local busses (2Lev) which we took to Nessebar one day. The old town is a UNESCO site with gorgeous beaches, crumbling churches and traditional Bulgarian houses. We took the sea taxi back which cost 20Lev for anyone over 130cm and took about 30 minutes which the kids loved! It dropped us back at the jetty in the lively end of Sunny Beach which was packed with bars/clubs/shops/fairground rides etc.|We also did a trip to the aquapark in Sunny Beach and the free minibus served the bus stop right outside the hotel. |The beautiful beach is a short stroll across the road and offered plenty of place to stop for a cold drink and watch the sea or roll down the sand dunes! We were even treated to a firework display on evening!||There are lots of mini supermarkets around, some of which didn't accept card payment so the best ATM we found is pretty much opposite the hotel, attached to the little bank. The blue & yellow ATMs charge painfully to withdraw cash but those attached to banks didn't seem to.|There is a fabulous little pizzeria on the corner next to the hotel which didn't seem to close much before 3am which delighted my son no end!!||I was a little sceptical of what to expect here having read some of the reviews but we had a great time and would happily come back again! Just arrived back from a week staying here, 6 of us 3 adults 3 kids. we were satisfied! after speaking to people on arrival saying rooms dont get cleaned much, i didn't really find this an issue mine always looked clean there is a sign up stating they wont change bedding until day 3 which is fine i think. Pool area was great always sun loungers to choose from in a morning and the kids lived in the pool. Staff were amazing especially the owner who took time every day to come over to speak and check the kids were drinking plenty due to heat, she was so approachable and caring the other staff were all friendly and helpful, although some of the other holiday makers were very rude. the food was ok probably the one tiny downfall but only tiny.. breakfast selection was poor leading to the kids refusing to eat breakfast each day feel a wider selection of fruit should be offered rather than just watermelon, Evening meals, were tasty and always something different but quiet cold and again for kids not a great selection. Location was good, beach close and absolutely gorgeous, we took the bus to flower street which was traumatic (bus ride) flower street lots going on very busy lots of fun. our next trip out was to nessebar this time we asked owner to call us a taxi he arrived and was so lovely gave me his number and became our personal driver for the rest of our holiday and his prices came down each journey 🤣 he was super helpful. nessebar is a stunning place and a must do visit when staying here. over all we had a great holiday from start to finish. First of all, it's a deception !!! When I choose an accommodation I add filters and expect to get what I choose! I added: electric kettle and sea view, in the description of the room it is! I am attaching a screenshot, but! in fact, there was no kettle and a view of the off road parking! We had an advance payment, I began to negotiate, it is also difficult, since the woman who settled us does not know English. Another man came, did not introduce himself. I began to explain and show the description of the room in the booking, to clarify where this room for which we paid. I thought it was a mistake and we were placed in the wrong room. The man replied that there is no kettle in the rooms and there is no view either. If we don't like it, he can return the money! But we arrived on a motorcycle, we were very tired, we had no local internet to search further and it started to rain. Plus a fact! How can deceive and give false descriptions and convenience! Secondly, these are old rooms with bad smell, terrible showers and fittings. breakfast: no coffee and tea, no juice! only fruity hot drinks. Not a buffet! brought out a plate with 2 pieces of cheap sausage and 2 pieces of cheese. 4 pieces of cucumber, 2 boiled eggs and 5 olives !!!
