Princess Residence — Hotel in Primorsko

Awful, dirty, dated, old, amenities as listed nope! Supposedly a 4 Star hotel, what a joke! On arrival to our room the bathroom ceiling was broken and hanging down along with some lovely cobwebs, service came and "fixed" it but there were still big gaps and they left the cobwebs. Our room had not been cleaned there was thick dust and cobwebs on furniture and cobwebs hanging from lamps, I asked for the room to be cleaned and showed the dirty cloth I had used to wipe one surface. It was never done properly. Towels and bedding were old and well used, horrible in fact, The park view room with balcony was dark, dingy and miserable, on the ground floor the balcony was narrow and had trees and weeds growing over it, awful to sit there! We were half board, food was disappointing not at all like the photos, poor quality and nothing home made, cereals were stale and dry as was the bread, very little variation in choice. Dining room staff were young, untrained and like zombies, no communication from them at all except to scowl at you. The hotel is right on the beach but the beach is crowded from early morning. The pool was very small but okay. There were broken chairs in the pool area and outside dining room furniture was dirty and rusty. I looked at photos and read reviews before choosing this place for a break for my husband birthday, the photos on all booking sites bear no resemblance to reality! No amenities in the room except an old fridge, free toiletries were a joke! Crap WiFi. Outside the hotel is a water slide, unused, rusty and on a derelict site covered in rubbish. I swear I deliberated whether I should actually post this review, but here we are. ||Here are the good things about my stay which constitute the overall rating of 2. ||- Right on the beach ||- Not that expensive out of season - we had an apartment fitting 6 people for about 45 EUR. (I do doubt that would be the price in July). ||||Now, as you'll see from the pictures I will attach to this review - I had an interesting encounter coming back to my room. That thing can get you in a hospital. It came out of our room and went into another room. Guess what I did? - turned every single sheet in my room before going to bed. What made it worse that no one at the reception did anything besides one guy telling me that "IT HAPPENS SOMETIMES". ||||Breakfast is terrible - all the food i positioned in a really small space so you're in the position of having to wait for a long time or push around other people. Really uncomfortable. ||||And last but not least, a friend of mine went to the reception bar to get us some decent coffee. It's a bit expensive for a 4 star hotel, that the only thing they give you is a good service and 20 second walk to the beach. Yeah. The hotel is at the beach. You could think this is a plus, but oh boy... you're in for surprise. Loud music from the nearest bar. Old furniture. I mean old like used. A lot. Service is perfect here. They clean the rooms every day. Breakfast is perfect. The restaurant serves very delicious food. Drinks are ideal. Plenty to choose from. The pool is north facing. That means the water in the hottest time of the day is colder as my ex girlfriend's heart. The accommodations here are a bit old. Yeah, they clean the rooms constantly, but bathroom shower could make the hardest man cry. I'm giving 3 stars, because of the super cool staff and the fact that you're like 2 seconds away from the beach. But ... I'm a guest of the hotel, and I have to pay for parking like 2 euros a day ... Not that much, but Kiten is not that popular once the season ends. Think about it ...
