I first contacted the hotel on June 8th by sending an email inquiry. The inquiry was for 7 rooms and one night. I have not received an answer to this day. Two weeks after the email was sent, I decided it was necessary to contact the hotel by phone to get some information. I was told that it is best to come in person to answer the inquiry and questions. My husband and I went in person (as it is the only way to get answers). We spoke with Simona, who informed us of the rates and room options, but was unable to answer a question about whether a 12:00 check-in would be possible (as well as what the fee would be). I gave a phone number and was promised a call back with an answer (since emails are not used). I didn't get an answer. I called again, 4 days later, I spoke to a guy who had no idea about wanting to reserve 7 rooms and the related issue of problematic check-in. Again I was promised that he would ask and call me right back. There was no call. 3 days after this conversation I call again to be picked up by a completely different person who, of course, has no idea what this is about and I am told that there are no more available rooms.|I am extremely disappointed with the frivolous and unprofessional attitude of the staff. Please, if working with e-mail makes it difficult for them, do not allow contact through this channel. It is also extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, to know that I have been waiting a month for these 7 rooms in question and finally to be told - Well, they are occupied.|I wouldn't try...
Read moreWhat a dump! Filthy, cracked walls, tiles missing, thick with dust and cobwebs. There have been 2 middle aged women on reception, the first 14 & 15 April was a delight, the second was abrupt and very rude! This woman needs to be taught what it means to be in the hospitality trade. I handed my room key to her and sat outside to wait for my driver, she soon followed me out and said " you check out, you pay" I am not checking out, I replied, I am going to an appointment. She beckoned me back to the reception desk where she wrote how much I should pay her on a piece of paper, " 3 nights you must pay this " she said. But I am staying for 5 nights I replied. This went on for a while, all infront of other guests staying there. Eventually she yielded and I went for my appointment. I returned an hour or so later and she started again, " you pay, you check out" at this point I thought I was going to be evicted from the hotel! I showed her my booking confirmation and again she yielded. I do hope the other lady is back tomorrow! Do yourself a favour Hotel Dream and educate this woman before she ruins your business completely if the cleaners dont...
Read moreThis hotel is close enough the airport to be convenient and yet a few steps from the metro so offers easy access to the city centre.||The design of the building is unusual and ensures that rooms are placed in such a way that one doesn't hear neighbours, in fact, although the hotel was quite full, we were never disturbed. ||We were in room 307, from which, one can just about see the mountains!||Facilities are good, TV with English language, Italian and French channels, the bathroom boasts a good quality shower set-up and shower gel, shampoo etc were provided. ||The beds are comfortable, curtains exclude at least some light.||A little more attention to detail would ensure that the hotel info-brochure was actually inside its cover (ours was completely missing), and perhaps cleaning might be slightly more thorough in the bathroom.||Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel-airport transfer was timely and cheap.||The weakest point of our stay was the breakfast which is poor by any standards. No croissants or similar, very limited choice of cold meats, scrambled eggs which had been well over-cooked, bread...
